晚清《点石斋画报》视野中的古都南京社会风情

【摘要】：正晚清时期反映我国社会生活与民俗风情的《点石斋画报》,由英国商业资本家美查(英文为"Ernest.Major",笔名"尊闻阁主人"等)与其他三位友人合办,1884年5月8日在上海创刊,1898年终刊。该画报参照西方新闻制作方法,诚如美查在创刊号序文中所谓:"取各馆新闻事迹之颖异者,或新出一器,乍见一物,皆为绘图缀说,以征阅者之信"、"选择新闻中可惊可喜之事绘制成图,并附事略",借以满足不断增长的广大民众
[Abstract]:Dingshi Zhai Pictorial, which reflects the social life and folk customs of our country in the late Qing Dynasty, was co-organized by the British commercial capitalist Meizar (Ernest.Major in English, the pseudonym "respecting the Master of the Pavilion") and three other friends. It was founded in Shanghai on May 8, 1884, and published at the end of 1898. Referring to the Western news production methods, the pictorial is as Meicha said in the preface of the first issue: "take the different stories of the news stories of the various pavilions, or come up with a new device, and at first sight see one thing, all of which are graphic affixes." "with the letter of the reader", "make a map of the surprising and gratifying things in the news, and attach them to them", in order to satisfy the growing masses of people.
