关于霍克尼艺术中的平面性探索及新媒体新工具的应用

【摘要】:艺术史中,艺术家们一直在不断尝试新媒体新工具来进行创作,从拉斯科洞窟壁画到坦培拉技法,艺术家们利用各种新工具来进行二维平面上的创造,而在近一百多年里,科技迅猛发展,大量新的媒体和工具的产生,对平面艺术造成了巨大的冲击,艺术家们该怎么处理这种新媒体新工具带来的冲击?如果我们以新的媒体和新的工具为观察角度对艺术家的平面创作进行研究,在许多使用新媒体新工具进行创作的艺术家当中,都可以看出他们的表达方式并不受工具的限制。达利和霍克尼等艺术家都是属于积极尝试新媒体新工具应用的艺术家;本文将主要以霍克尼为主要的研究对象,来探究新媒体新工具对二维平面创作的关系。霍克尼在艺术创作中所使用的iphone和ipad等新兴工具,对本人的创作有极大的启发作用,并激起好奇心去探索霍克尼是怎样来实验与创作的。新媒体新工具语言的应用和创新一直贯穿着艺术家整个艺术生命。大卫·霍克尼每个阶段都会变化其创作工具和媒介,素描、腐蚀版画、油画、丙烯、水彩、图片摄影拼贴、家庭复印机拼贴、iPad绘画、iPhone绘画和高清摄像机等,这些新媒体新工具使得他的观看方式、思考方式以及表达方式不断的产生变化,最终所得到的作品表现出了霍克尼所一直追求的影像,一种具有独特观看方式和表达方式的作品效果。不仅仅是霍克尼,在艺术史中,艺术家们一直都在使用新的工具进行创作,而不变的是他们在二维平面上的探索以及自己对影像(image)的表达。艺术家们通过新媒体新工具应用于二维平面来进行自我表达,他们没有被新的媒体工具束缚,艺术家们想要表达的影像才是重点,只有当正确的技术手段运用到合适的地方才能创造出完美的艺术。霍克尼持续的在二维平面上进行创作,他感兴趣的透视是借助二维平面来描绘出三维空间的系统。很多人都在质疑绘画的可能性,通过对霍克尼研究发现,艺术家把绘画作为主体,借鉴应用新媒体新工具,最终回到绘画当中。在当下这个时代里,新媒体新工具不断出现,艺术家更不应该轻视绘画,因为绘画是独特的不可取代的,是艺术家自主性的体现。通过利用新媒体新工具,多重线索的创作方式可以突破线性创作思路,使得平面性探索充满了无限的可能性。
[Abstract]:In the history of art, artists have been constantly experimenting with new media and new tools to create, from the Rasco cave murals to the Tampera technique, artists have used various new tools to create two-dimensional planes, and for more than a hundred years, With the rapid development of science and technology and the emergence of a large number of new media and tools, graphic art has been greatly impacted. How should artists deal with the impact of this new media and new tools? If we study the graphic creation of artists from the perspective of new media and new tools, in many artists who use new media and new tools to create, we can see that their expression is not limited by the tool. Artists such as Dali and Hockney are artists who actively try new media and new tools. This paper will take Hockney as the main research object to explore the relationship between new media tools and two-dimensional graphic creation. The new tools, such as iphone and ipad, used by Hockney in his artistic creation, have greatly inspired his creation and aroused curiosity to explore how Hockney experimented and created. The application and innovation of new media and new tool language has been running through the artist's whole art life. David Hockney changes his tools and media at every stage, sketches, etched prints, oil paintings, acrylic, watercolor, photo collage, home photocopier collage, iPad painting, iPhone painting and high-definition cameras, etc. These new media and new tools make his way of viewing, thinking, and expressing constantly changing, and the resulting work shows the image that Hockney has been pursuing. A novel with a unique view and expression of the effect of the work. It's not just Hockney. In the history of art, artists have been using new tools to create, but not just their two-dimensional exploration and their own expression of the image (image). Artists use new media tools to express themselves in two-dimensional planes. They are not bound by new media tools. The images that artists want to express are the focus. Only when the right technical means are applied to the right place can the perfect art be created. Hockney continues to write on a two-dimensional plane, and his perspective is a system of drawing three-dimensional space with the help of a two-dimensional plane. Many people are questioning the possibility of painting, through the study of Hockney found that artists use painting as the main body, draw lessons from new media and new tools, and finally return to painting. In this era, new media and new tools appear constantly, artists should not despise painting, because painting is unique and irreplaceable, is the embodiment of the artist's autonomy. Through the use of new media and new tools, the way of creation with multiple clues can break through the idea of linear creation and make the exploration of planarity full of infinite possibilities.
