艾夫斯《新英格兰三地》中的传统回响

【摘要】: 查尔斯·艾夫斯(Charles Ives1874—1954)是二十世纪上半叶美国杰出的作曲家之一。由于多年来,国内外对艾夫斯的研究多侧重于他对音乐传统的反叛与创新上,本文试图以他的代表作品《新英格兰三地》为例,在肯定艾夫斯现代独创性的基础上,客观地论述他在音乐思想、音乐风格、音乐素材与创作手法等方面与音乐传统,尤其是欧洲艺术音乐传统的密切联系,以求对艾夫斯在美国音乐史上承前启后的作用有更深刻的认识和理解,并对我们了解美国音乐的发展内涵有所帮助和启发,以资借鉴。 《新英格兰三地》是由三个乐章组成的管弦乐套曲,创作于艾夫斯音乐生涯的顶峰时期,是他最成熟的代表作品之一。这部作品集中体现了艾夫斯多样性的创作特征,即美国流行音乐传统、新教音乐传统、欧洲艺术音乐传统及花样繁多的现代创新巧妙地融合在作品当中。尽管乐曲采用的多调性、无调性、复节奏、音簇等现代手法,一直是众多音乐学家主要关注的对象。而本文的写作目的则是要透过这些令人瞩目的创新,深入发掘其背后的传统根基。文章采用步步深入的写作方式,分三个章节加以论述: 一,介绍《新英格兰三地》的一般情况,包括大致内容、创作时间、首演状况等。此外,为了解《新英格兰三地》多样性风格形成的过程,文章简要回顾了艾夫斯此前走过的创作历程,,其中着重讲述了他从父亲乔治与帕克教授那里接受的音乐传统教育。 二,对《新英格兰三地》三个乐章的音乐本体分别进行扼要的艺术分析。着重于最能体现其传统特征的方面,如音乐主题、调性和声及总体结构等。 三,尝试从理论高度对《新英格兰三地》中的传统因素进行深化和总结。主要从音乐本体、音乐风格、音乐思想三方面加以论述。
[Abstract]:Charles Ives (Charles Ives1874 - 1954) is one of the outstanding composers of the United States in the first half of the twentieth Century. For many years, the study of Ives at home and abroad focused on his rebellion and innovation on music tradition. This article tried to take his representative works < three land of new England > as an example to affirm the foundation of Ives's modern originality On the basis of this, he objectively discusses his close relationship with music tradition, especially the European art and music tradition in the aspects of music thought, musical style, music material and creative techniques, in order to have a deeper understanding and understanding of Ives's role in the history of American music and to understand the development of American music. Help and inspire, in order to draw lessons from.
"New England three places" is a string orchestra composed of three movements. It was created at the peak of Ives's musical career. It is one of his most mature representative works. This work concentrates on the creative features of Ives's diversity, namely, the American pop music tradition, the Protestant music tradition, the European tradition of art and music, and the variety of patterns. In spite of the multitonic, untonal, complex rhythm and cluster of modern techniques used in music, it has always been the main object of many musicologists. The purpose of this article is to explore the traditional foundations behind them through these remarkable innovations. The way is divided into three chapters.
First, introduce the general situation of "the three places of new England", including the general content, the time of creation and the state of the premiere. In addition, in order to understand the process of the formation of "the three places of new England", the article briefly reviews the history of Ives's previous creation, which focuses on the music biography he received from his father, George and Professor Parke. Education.
Two, the artistic analysis of the music noumenon of "three places in new England > three movement" is carried out respectively. The emphasis is on the aspects that can most reflect the traditional features, such as the theme of music, the harmonics and the overall structure, and so on.
Three, we try to deepen and summarize the traditional factors in the "three places of new England" from the theoretical height, mainly from three aspects of music, music, and music.
