论章草书的形体演变及其在汉字史上的作用

【摘要】：本文以汉字字体学理论为指导,选取汉代草书简牍和传皇象《急就章》为主体材料,从文字学角度对章草书的形体演变和在汉字史上的重要作用进行研究。主要包括以下三方面内容: 第一,考察“章草”一词在文献中涵义,对“章草”书的名义进行界定,并总结回顾前人研究成果。第二,从文字资料出发,运用历史比较的方法,追溯章草书的起源,划分章草书发展演变的历史阶段,归纳各阶段的字形特征,探讨章草书形体演变的动因和规律。第三,分析章草书同隶变以及楷书、行书、今草书的关系,综论章草书在汉字史上发挥的重要作用。本文认为,章草的来源有三,一是古隶的俗体,二是少量春秋战国时期的古文字草书,三是汉八分书。在西汉中晚期,章草书正式形成;至新莽和东汉时期,章草书步入成熟阶段;至魏晋时期,经过权威书法家的整理和美化,章草书完成了“正体化”进程,由实用阶段的简牍章草书演变成为以传皇象《急就章》为代表的传本章草书。章草书在汉魏之际汉字史上所起的作用可以概括为:古文字草书启发了隶变的出现,汉代章草书推动了隶书正体化进程:汉代章草书为新隶体笔画系统的建立奠定了基础,并对后世楷、行书字形产生了重要影响;章草书成为今草书产生的一个重要源头。章草书之所以能够在汉字史上发挥上述作用,源于其杂有多种字体的特征和高度的简化性。
[Abstract]:Guided by the theory of Chinese character typography, this paper selects the cursive bamboo slips and the imperial image of Han Dynasty as the main material, and studies the evolution of the form of the cursive script and its important role in the history of Chinese characters from the perspective of philology.It mainly includes the following three aspects:The first is to investigate the meaning of the word "Zhang Cao" in the literature, to define the name of the book, and to summarize and review the previous research results.Second, starting from the writing materials, using the method of historical comparison, tracing back the origin of the cursive script, dividing the historical stage of the development and evolution of the cursive script, summarizing the characters of each stage, and discussing the causes and laws of the evolution of the form of the cursive script.Thirdly, the paper analyzes the relationship between the cursive script and the traditional Chinese script, as well as the regular script, the running script and the present cursive script, and summarizes the important role that the cursive script plays in the history of Chinese characters.This paper holds that there are three sources of Zhang Cao, one is the vulgar style of ancient scribe, the other is a small amount of ancient cursive script in the Spring and Autumn and warring States period, and the third is the eight-part book of Han Dynasty.In the middle and late Western Han Dynasty, the cursive script of Zhang was formally formed; in the period of Xinmang and the Eastern Han Dynasty, the script of Zhang cursive entered into the mature stage; in the period of Wei and Jin dynasties, after the collation and beautification of authoritative calligraphers, the cursive script of Zhang cursive completed the process of "formalization".The cursive script of the bamboo slips in the practical stage has evolved into the cursive script of this chapter represented by the spread of the imperial image.The function of the cursive script in the history of Chinese characters in the Han and Wei dynasties can be summarized as follows: the ancient cursive script inspired the emergence of the Li Dynasty change, the Han Dynasty Zhang cursive script promoted the process of the official script orthography; the Han Dynasty Zhang cursive script laid the foundation for the establishment of the new scribe style stroke system.It has an important influence on the script of later generations, and the cursive script has become an important source of the generation of the cursive script.The reason why the cursive script can play this role in the history of Chinese characters is that it has a variety of characters and a high degree of simplification.
