His family history and learning experience can be found in he Yan's Records of Lanting, Shi Su's Jiatai Huiji and Lu Youren's Research North Magazine. In the history of Chinese calligraphy, Zhiyong's greatest achievement lies in the writing of 800 copies of Zuo monastery.
