【摘要】：奥尼尔与曹禺的关系早已是研究者们瞩目的问题，奥尼尔的《悲悼》和曹禺的《雷雨》无论在情节、人物、创作方法或是从作品中反映出来的剧作家的悲剧观念都有诸多相似之处。本论文试图通过两部剧作的对比研究，达到更好地解读两部剧作，更深入地了解两位剧作家的创作思想的目的。在简要介绍两位作家和两部剧作之后，论文首先比较了剧作中流露出的两位剧作家的悲剧观念的异同。两位剧作家的悲剧观念都与古希腊悲剧观念一脉相承，但在创作中又融入了剧作家独特的观念以及民族的社会的内容，具有独创性。其次，两部作品都有几位至今在世界文学画廊中熠熠生辉的人物形象，特别是莱维尼亚和繁漪这两位女性形象。本文着重比较了莱维尼亚、克里斯汀和繁漪，长期处在窒息人的环境中造成了她们雷雨般的性格，导致了她们的悲剧命运。再次，，两位剧作家不约而同地出色运用了象征意象，达到渲染人物悲剧命运，烘托悲剧气氛的效果。本文从视觉、听觉意象两方面对剧作中的房子、面具式面孔、幸福岛、雷雨等象征意象作了对比。
[Abstract]:The relationship between O'Neill and Cao Yu has long been the focus of attention of researchers, O'Neill 's "mourning" and Cao Yu's "thunderstorm" no matter in the plot, characters. There are many similarities between the creative methods and the tragic ideas of the dramatists. This paper attempts to better interpret the two plays through the comparative study of the two plays. A deeper understanding of the purpose of the two playwrights' creative ideas. After a brief introduction of the two writers and two plays. The thesis first compares the similarities and differences between the tragic ideas of the two dramatists. But in the creation of the playwright into the unique concept and the content of the national society, with originality. Secondly, there are several characters in the world literary gallery. Especially the images of Levigna and Fanyi. This paper focuses on the comparison of Levigna, Christine and Fanyi, who have been in suffocating environment for a long time, resulting in their thunderstorm character. Once again, the two playwrights have used the symbol image to achieve the effect of exaggerating the tragic fate of the characters and setting off the tragic atmosphere. The auditory images are compared to the house, mask face, happiness island, thunderstorm and other symbolic images in the play.
