文艺教育必须走出凝固化模式——东南大学艺术学院院长王廷信教授访谈录

【摘要】：当前,在党的十八大胜利召开以及2013年"两会"之后,文化、艺术、教育的相关问题再一次成为国家和全社会关注的热点。在党的十七届六中全会《决定》提出建设"文化强国"的战略目标之后,党的十八大报告中又明确提出"要扎实推进社会主义文化强国建设",必须推动社会主义文化大发展大繁荣,兴起社会主义文化建设新高潮,提高国家文化软实力,发挥文化引领风尚、教育人民、服务社会、推动发展的作用。所以,探寻文化艺术教育的合理模式,繁荣国家文化艺术事业发展,成为落实党的十八大关于扎实推进社会主义文化强国建设的重要举措。同时,党的十八大报告提出了建设"美丽中国"的战略发展目标,提出要把生态文明建设放在突出地位,融入经济、政治、文化、社会建设各方面和全过程,努力建设"美丽中国",实现中华民族永续发展。笔者认为,作为一名文化工作者,一位普通的艺术创作者,或是一位文艺教育工作者,我们大概都会普遍意识到,"美丽中国"自身是一个全方位的概念,这一美好蓝图,不是指单一的从生态意义、环境保护的角度建设祖国的秀美山川,更重要、更关键的是要求更进一步提高人民群众的文化艺术素养、提升社会民众的艺术审美境界,这些必然涵盖和滋养了以人的思想境界为基础的心灵美,以及由此所延伸出的社会美和艺术美,这其中包括了生态的自然美的建设、和谐的社会美的创造以及高雅的艺术美的回归。所以,深入了解当代中国文化艺术教育模式的现状,探寻其发展规律并顺势引导,成为起笔"美丽中国"美好蓝图的关键工作之一。东南大学是中国近代教育史上第一个创办图画手工科的高等学府(由南京两江优级师范学堂第二任督学李瑞清在1906年创办),艺术专业教育在20世纪之初就走在了全国的最前端,而在100多年之后的今天,在中华人民共和国教育部组织的共有390多个单位的4200多个学科参评的2012年度第三轮学科评估中,东南大学的艺术学理论一级学科在高校学科排名中名列全国第一,再一次走到了国家艺术教育事业发展的最前列。人类生活需要艺术创作的滋养,艺术创作需要理论的提升。由此,关于当下社会普遍关注的文化艺术教育领域的诸多深层问题,本刊编辑部结合当前社会发展对东南大学艺术学院院长王廷信教授进行了访谈。访谈中,王廷信院长敏锐地提出了"文艺教育必须走出凝固化模式"的观点。这与党和政府一贯坚持和倡导的"双百方针"、"艺术民主"等理论精髓有诸多相通之处。作为全国高校艺术学理论专业学科发展的领军人物,他坦率的认为"我们更需要的是多姿多彩的‘呈现’"。王廷信院长认为,在20世纪前半叶,我们需要用文学艺术来唤醒大众的国家意识和民族意识;而在20世纪后半叶,中国社会逐步走向多元,民众通向精神空间的管道增多;尤其近十多年来现代传媒无孔不入,导致我们更需要的是多姿多彩的"呈现"。相对"教育"的方式,"呈现"也更加平等。相对文学艺术这种与人的精神高度联系的事物,我们目前需要的是激发国民文学艺术的创作热情、欣赏热情和评价热情。我们的文学艺术机构要把更加丰富多彩的文艺作品呈现给大众,把更加精美的文艺作品送到身边,让人们自觉自愿地享用艺术。关于解决方式,王廷信院长提出,"大众有时候容易盲从。盲从一方面是对文艺作品的选择,另一方面是对文艺作品的甄别",而"推进完善批评机制,构建良好的批评氛围,养成良好的批评风气,才会让批评在大众文艺教育中起到真正的作用"。因此,"营造良好的批评氛围、丰富我们的批评话语是当前我们的文艺批评急切需要关注并引起重视的重要问题。"本刊编辑部刊发本次访谈,目的在于让我们更多地了解和观察诸多知名学者位于学术发展最前端的思想的光芒,同时也是对学界的学术理论建设,为实现中国特色社会主义文化的大繁荣大发展,以及进一步推动实现中华民族的伟大复兴贡献一份应有的力量。
