目的论视角下的自然文学翻译实践报告

【摘要】：虽然自然文学自中国古代和欧洲早期就已存在,但是它作为一种现代文学流派只有大约二百年的历史。目前,自然文学的发展出现了两极化,在美国蓬勃发展,在中国和欧洲则日渐衰落。自然文学融智慧性和可读性于一身,学术界应该更加重视,加强对自然文学的研究。这也满足了自然文学资源相对不足的中国读者的需求。该报告记录了笔者对四位自然文学大家的四篇优秀作品的翻译经验,并从目的论的视角阐述了对自然文学翻译的理解。自然文学概念一直比较宽泛、模糊,该实践报告首先尝试对自然文学进行了定义,解释了其包含的元素,归纳了自然文学中技术性和可读性这一对风格属性,并对其关系进行子阐述。根据以任务为导向的理念,笔者选择了目的论这一理论工具来解决翻译过程中的问题。因为就自然文学的翻译任务和材料特点而言，目的论对其中科学性内容和部分文学性内容的指导更适合、史有效。另外,报告也对改写策略在翻译过程的应用进行了探讨。在目的论的指导下,该实践报告详细记录了翻译过程,翻译思路,对在术语翻译、修辞翻译和文体方面遇到的问题进行了详细的案例分析,并提出了相应对策。最后还提出了进一步的思考和建议。希望该报告能给对自然文学翻译感兴趣的和译者以助益和启发。
[Abstract]:Although natural literature has existed since ancient China and early Europe, it has only a history of about 200 years as a modern literary school.At present, the development of natural literature has been polarized, flourishing in the United States, declining in China and Europe.Natural literature is a combination of wisdom and readability, the academic circles should pay more attention to it and strengthen the study of natural literature.This also meets the needs of Chinese readers who are relatively short of natural literature resources.The report records the author's translation experience of four outstanding works of the four natural literature and expounds his understanding of the translation of natural literature from the perspective of Skopos theory.The concept of natural literature has always been broad and vague. This practice report first attempts to define natural literature, explain the elements it contains, and sum up the technical and readability of natural literature as a pair of stylistic attributes.And its relation carries on the sub-elaboration.Based on the task-oriented concept, the author chooses Skopos as a theoretical tool to solve the problems in translation.Because Skopos theory is more suitable for the guidance of scientific content and part of literary content in terms of the translation task and material characteristics of natural literature, and the history is effective.In addition, the application of rewriting strategy in translation process is also discussed.Under the guidance of Skopos theory, the practice report records the translation process and ideas in detail, analyzes the problems encountered in terms translation, rhetorical translation and stylistic aspects in detail, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.At last, some further thoughts and suggestions are put forward.It is hoped that the report will be helpful and enlightening to translators who are interested in the translation of natural literature.
