论徐复观“为人生而艺术”的文艺思想

【摘要】:在新儒家当中,甚至在整个20世纪的中国人文学术史上,徐复观都是一个颇具传奇色彩的人物,他是个勇者型的学者,也是个介于学术与政治之间的学者。其思想贯通哲学、史学、文学等诸多领域。虽然他的学术活动主要是在20世纪后半叶的台湾、香港地区展开,但他始终立足于中国文化的土壤,始终关怀着中华民族的前途、命运。近年来,大陆学术界对徐复观颇为重视,其著作及论文选辑被陆续出版,相关研究专著和论文也与日俱增。但这些成果,多是对其哲学、史学、文化思想的探讨,对他文艺思想的关注尚少。实际上,在徐复观的著述中,对文学艺术亦有丰富的独到见解。本文即由此切入,试图对其文艺思想进行深入的分析探讨。全文共分为四个部分: 一、导论。简要介绍徐复观的学思历程及其文艺思想的研究现状和研究意义。 二、对徐复观“为人生而艺术”的文艺思想的具体阐释。徐复观指出中国文化中的艺术精神只存在两种典型:一个是儒家“为人生而艺术”的艺术精神,一个是道家的纯艺术精神。虽然儒、道两家的艺术精神在表现形态上并不相同,但它们本质上都是在为人生负责,都是为人生而艺术。徐复观认为儒家的艺术精神最初由音乐承载,并由此确立了“为人生而艺术”的典型。这种典型乃是道德与艺术在穷极之地的统一,可以作为万古的标程,但在现实中旷古难遇,所以逐渐走向衰落和转化。后由文学来表现、承载、完成儒家的艺术精神,即要求文学以艺术的形象,表现作者人格、性情的美与善,表现崇高的道德品德,从而为现实人生负责。徐复观认为道家的艺术精神是纯艺术精神,而这种纯艺术精神并不是与“为人生”排斥的,它对现实是反省式的反映,对现实人生起批评、超越的作用。道家的纯艺术精神主要落实、体现在中国山水画上。山水画,对于超越现实生活,获得精神自由,保持精神纯洁等都起到积极作用,而且对于当代社会中的机器、工具、机构乃至科技理性对人的自由的压制,也能起到调剂、平衡的重要作用。 三、徐复观“为人生而艺术”的文艺思想的形成。徐复观“为人生而艺术”的文艺思想的形成是和台湾上个世纪60、70年代的时代背景分不开的。除却时代背景的原因外,徐复观的“心的文化”理论和人性论思想是其文艺思想形成的
[Abstract]:In the Neo-Confucianism, even in the 20th century Chinese academic history, Xu Fuguan is a legendary figure, he is a brave scholar, but also a scholar between academic and political. His thoughts permeate many fields such as philosophy, history, literature and so on. Although his academic activities were mainly carried out in Taiwan and Hong Kong in the second half of the 20th century, he was always based on the soil of Chinese culture and always cared for the future and destiny of the Chinese nation. In recent years, scholars in mainland China have attached great importance to Xu Fuguan, and his works and selected articles have been published one after another, and related research monographs and papers have also been increasing day by day. However, most of these achievements are about his philosophy, historiography, cultural thoughts, and his literary thoughts. In fact, in Xu Fuguan's writings, there are also rich unique views on literature and art. From this, this paper tries to make a deep analysis and discussion of his literary and artistic thoughts. The full text is divided into four parts: Introduction. This paper briefly introduces Xu Fuguan's thinking process and the research status and significance of his literary and artistic thoughts. Second, the concrete explanation of Xu Fuguan's artistic thought of "Art for Life". Xu Fuguan pointed out that there are only two typical artistic spirits in Chinese culture: one is the Confucian artistic spirit of "art for life" and the other is the pure artistic spirit of Taoism. Although the artistic spirit of Confucianism and Taoism are different in expression form, they are both responsible for life and art for life. Xu Fuguan thought that the Confucian artistic spirit was initially carried by music, and thus established the model of "art for life". This kind of model is the unity of morality and art in the poor land, which can be regarded as the eternal standard, but it is difficult to meet in reality, so it is gradually declining and transforming. After that, literature is used to express, carry and complete the Confucian artistic spirit, that is to say, literature is required to represent the image of art, the personality of the author, the beauty and goodness of temperament, and the lofty moral character, so as to be responsible for the real life. Xu Fuguan thinks that Taoist artistic spirit is pure artistic spirit, and this pure artistic spirit is not exclusive from "life for life", it is a reflection of reflection to reality, it plays a critical and transcendent role to real life. The pure artistic spirit of Taoism is mainly implemented in Chinese landscape painting. Landscape painting plays a positive role in transcending real life, gaining spiritual freedom and maintaining spiritual purity, and it can also play a role in regulating the suppression of human freedom by machines, tools, institutions and even scientific and technological rationality in contemporary society. The important role of balance. Third, the formation of Xu Fuguan's artistic thought of "Art for Life". The formation of Xu Fuguan's artistic thought of "Art for Life" is inseparable from the background of Taiwan's time in the 1960s and 1970s. In addition to the reasons of the background of the times, Xu Fuguan's theory of "culture of heart" and the theory of human nature were formed by his literary and artistic thoughts.
