从读者接受角度论童话英汉翻译

【摘要】: 在儿童文学这块多彩的园地里,童话是一朵引人注目的奇葩。儿童作为一个特殊的读者群体,要帮助他们了解西方文化,译介西方优秀童话无疑是最佳途径。 接受美学和读者接受理论为童话翻译提供了哲学基础和文学理论基础。接受美学提出,文学作品只有被读者理解和接受才能实现其美学价值和社会功能,变成生活的艺术。童话的接受主体——儿童读者,是实现作品功能潜力的一个重要环节。根据接受理论,在翻译过程中,译者首要考虑的应该是读者的接受视野,接受心理和接受需要。优秀童话作品的作者是用儿童视角写世界、写儿童、写人生,那么童话的译者同样应该用童心去鉴赏,真正实现儿童与成人心灵的相互赠与,然后再用小读者喜闻乐见、简洁易懂以及优美的语言来翻译,以保持原著的风格和儿童情趣,再现原著的思想内容、人物形象和艺术意境。 中国原创儿童文学在儿童图书市场上的沉寂以及儿童本位在儿童文学的中心地位表明了儿童本位是童话创作的基本原则,同时,更体现了当今的时代特征赋予了儿童本位新的文化内涵。通过对比分析《爱丽丝漫游奇境记》的几个译本,可以得出结论:无论是过去还是现在,儿童本位是童话汉译的基本原则,它对翻译中词句的选择、修辞的传译以及文化差异的处理都具有现实的指导意义。
[Abstract]:In the colorful garden of children's literature, fairy tale is a remarkable flower. As a special group of readers, it is the best way for children to help them understand western culture. Reception aesthetics and reader acceptance theory provide philosophical basis and literary theoretical basis for fairy tale translation. Receptive aesthetics suggests that literary works can realize their aesthetic value and social function and become the art of life only when they are understood and accepted by readers. The child reader, the subject of fairy tale, is an important link to realize the function potential of the work. According to reception theory, in the process of translation, the translator should first consider the reader's receptive vision, receptive psychology and receptive needs. The author of a good fairy tale works is to write the world, write children, write life from a children's perspective, so the translator of fairy tales should also use his childlike heart to appreciate and truly realize the mutual gift between children and adults, and then use small readers to enjoy it. Simple and easy to understand and beautiful language to translate, to maintain the original style and children's interests, to reproduce the original content, characters and artistic conception. The silence of Chinese original children's literature in the children's book market and the centrality of children's standard in children's literature indicate that children's standard is the basic principle of fairy tale creation. It also reflects the characteristics of the present era and endows the children with new cultural connotations. Through a comparative analysis of several versions of Alice in Wonderland, it can be concluded that, whether in the past or now, children-orientation is the basic principle of translating fairy tales into Chinese, and its choice of words and phrases in translation. The interpretation of rhetoric and the treatment of cultural differences are of practical significance.
