从文化预设角度看中国文学翻译

【摘要】： 本论文主要从文化预设角度对中国文学翻译作一尝试性的探讨。预设是一哲学上的概念,自1970年以来在语言学界引起了激烈的讨论。在一个特定社会中,预设通常于文化息息相关。从跨文化语用学角度上来说,文化预设是指说话人与听话人之间不同的文化背景,或者是建立在不同的社会团体成员的生活经验基础上的特定的观念。缺乏对双方不同文化预设的了解,将会对双方的成功交际造成障碍。翻译不仅是不同语言信息的转换,而且是文化信息的传播。因此,文化预设问题在翻译过程中是不可避免的,可能会很大程度地影响译者对原文的理解,理应获得翻他们的重视。,, 在这篇论文中,本文作者将对预设作一学术回顾,阐明文化预设的定义和其作为一文化特定现象与翻译的关系。在此基础上,本文作者将对文学翻译作品中出现的由文化预设引起的误读误译作一讨论。作者将从物质文化,社会文化,意识形态,语言文化四个方面讨论文化预设问题是如何影响译者理解翻译原文的。鉴于文化预设对于文学翻译确有影响,本文作者将从文化预设角度对中国文学翻译作一尝试性的探讨,看译者有没有在翻译过程中考虑到原语文化和目的语文化之间文化预设的差别,如何在译本中为目标读者提供必要的文化信息,使得目标读者能充分理解原文,了解原语文化。通过论述,本文作者认为文化预设应当得到译者的重视。并应根据其在原文中特定的语境进行处理。
[Abstract]:This thesis attempts to explore the translation of Chinese literature from the perspective of cultural presupposition. Presupposition is a philosophical concept which has aroused heated discussion in linguistic circles since 1970. In a particular society, presupposition is usually closely related to culture. From the perspective of cross-cultural pragmatics, cultural presupposition refers to different cultural backgrounds between the speaker and the hearer, or a specific concept based on the life experience of members of different social groups. A lack of understanding of the different cultural presuppositions of both sides will create obstacles to successful communication between the two parties. Translation is not only the transformation of information in different languages, but also the dissemination of cultural information. Therefore, cultural presupposition is inevitable in the process of translation, which may greatly affect the translator's understanding of the original text. Deserve their attention., in this paper the author will make an academic review of presupposition. This paper expounds the definition of cultural presupposition and its relationship with translation as a culture-specific phenomenon. On this basis, the author discusses the misreading and misinterpretation caused by cultural presupposition in literary translation. The author will discuss how cultural presupposition affects the translator's understanding of the source text from four aspects: material culture, social culture, ideology and language culture. In view of the influence of cultural presupposition on literary translation, the author will make a tentative study of Chinese literary translation from the perspective of cultural presupposition. Whether the translator takes into account the cultural presupposition between the source language culture and the target language culture in the process of translation, how to provide the target readers with the necessary cultural information in the translation, so that the target readers can fully understand the original text and understand the source culture. Through discussion, the author thinks that cultural presupposition should be valued by the translator. And should be dealt with according to its specific context in the original text.
