[Abstract]:Traditional translation theories lack sufficient attention and systematic research on the translator's subjectivity. The translator's subject position has been obscured for a long time. With the cultural turn of translation studies, the dynamic role of the translator in the process of translation has gradually emerged, and the study of the translator's subjectivity has been neglected to be confirmed until it becomes a hot research topic. Our country also began to study this aspect in the 90's of last century. Based on the review and analysis of the subjectivity of translation, this paper holds that the study of the subjectivity of translation is mainly focused on the subjectivity of the translator, but the research on the relationship between the subjects is relatively few. However, Western philosophy and literary theory have begun to shift from subjectivity study to intersubjectivity study. Therefore, translation studies should take the cultural turn of translation as a turning point to begin to change from subjectivity study to intersubjectivity study. This paper first answers the questions of "who is the subject of translation" and "what is the subjectivity and intersubjectivity of translation", and points out that the translator is not an isolated subject? The translator's subjectivity is restricted by the author's subjectivity and the reader's subjectivity. The author of the original, the translator and the reader of the target text are the subjects of different natures: the creative subject, the translation subject and the recipient subject. Intersubjectivity in literary translation refers to the interrelationship and interaction among the subjects in literary translation, namely, the author of the original text, the translator and the readers of the target text. Modern hermeneutics provides a theoretical basis for this understanding. From the perspective of visual field fusion and expectation perspective, this paper expounds that the translation process is actually the interaction between the translator and the author of the source text and the translator and the reader of the target text. Translation activity is no longer regarded as an isolated language conversion activity, but a dialogue between subjects. The author, translator and reader should be interdependent and permeate each other. These three constitute the relationship between equal subjects. Translation is not the subject's conquest of the object, but the equal dialogue and communication between the subjects. This paper is composed of preface, text (four chapters) and conclusion. The first chapter introduces the background, significance and design of this paper. The second chapter is literature review, which first answers the questions of "who is the subject of translation" and "what is the subjectivity and intersubjectivity of translation", and then reviews the research on the subject of subjectivity and intersubjectivity of translation at home and abroad. Chapter three discusses the characteristics, functions and characteristics of literary translation. Finally, it points out that the inter-subjectivity of literary translation refers to the interrelationship and interaction among the subjects in literary translation, namely, the author of the original text, the translator and the readers of the target text. The fourth and fifth chapters analyze the intersubjectivity between the translator and the author and the translator and the reader by using the relevant theories of hermeneutics. The last part summarizes the whole paper and points out the shortcomings and shortcomings of this paper.
