【摘要】：汉语现代散文主题涉及广泛,通常涉及人,社会与自然,其最为突出的特点是笔法灵活与情文并茂。这些高度表现时代特点的散文是汉语文学宝库中不可被忽视的瑰宝,因此要求译者在翻译此类文章时对汉语现代散文的特点予以特别的关注,并在英语译文中体现作者的思想。该篇翻译研究报告的翻译对象选自台湾著名作家三毛(Echo)的散文故事集《撒哈拉的故事》中的两篇,分别是《悬壶济世》、《爱的寻求》。三毛的散文具有很强的故事性和可读性,其散文取材广泛,充满异国情调。文笔朴素浪漫而又独具神韵,表达了她热爱人类、热爱生命、热爱自由和大自然的赤诚情怀,三毛的这种真诚的情怀构成了她作品主要的风格:真性情。三毛的散文作品具有很高的文学翻译价值。奈达的功能对等理论是翻译界最为著名的理论之一,奈达指出翻译不仅是词汇意义上的对等还包括语义、风格和文体的对等,翻译传达的信息既有表层词汇信息也有深层的文化信息。他还认为“在翻译中,意义是最重要的,形式其次”。许多文学体裁都以功能对等理论作为其翻译实践的指导理论,但是鲜有人用奈达的这一翻译理论指导三毛散文的翻译实践。本文作者将奈达的功能对等理论与汉语现代散文翻译结合起来进行研究。在该篇翻译研究报告中,作者从词汇、句法、篇章三个层面分析研究了三毛散文的文体特点,比如其散文多有中国俗语、四字格、无主句以及被动句,句子短小精简,并且三毛善用修辞手法。作者希望通过奈达的功能对等理论,指导英译文学作品实践。在该论文的主体部分中,作者从翻译文本中选取了具有代表性的翻译例子详细分析了作者在翻译过程中,采用重组、拆分、直译、意译、归化、异化等翻译方法,结合奈达的功能对等理论来实现成功的翻译文本。最后,作者对该篇翻译实践的经验与不足进行总结,以期更好地进行翻译实践工作。
[Abstract]:Modern Chinese prose covers a wide range of topics, usually involving people, society and nature. The most prominent feature of the essay is its flexibility in writing and its style of writing. These prose, which highly express the characteristics of the times, are treasures which cannot be ignored in the treasure house of Chinese literature. Therefore, translators are required to pay special attention to the characteristics of modern Chinese prose when translating such articles. The target of this translation study is selected from two of the prose stories of the famous Taiwanese writer Sanmao Echoo, the story of the Sahara. Sanmao's prose has a strong narrative and readability, its prose materials are extensive, full of exotic sentiment, writing simple, romantic and unique charm. Expressed her love of human beings, love life, love freedom and nature sincere feelings. Sanmao's sincere feelings constitute the main style of her works: true temperament. Sanmao's prose works have high literary translation value. Nida's functional equivalence theory is one of the most famous theories in translation field. Nida pointed out that translation is not only lexical equivalence but also semantic, stylistic and stylistic equivalence. Meaning is the most important, and form is the second. Many literary genres use functional equivalence theory as the guiding theory of translation practice. However, few people use Nida's translation theory to guide the translation practice of Sanmao prose. The author combines Nida's functional equivalence theory with the translation of modern Chinese prose. The author analyzes and studies the stylistic characteristics of Sanmao's prose from three aspects: vocabulary, syntax and text. For example, the prose has Chinese colloquial saying, four-character case, no subject sentence and passive sentence, and the sentence is short and concise. Furthermore, Sanmao makes good use of rhetorical devices. The author hopes to use Nida's functional equivalence theory to guide the practice of translating literary works into English. The author selects typical translation examples from the translated text and analyzes in detail the author's translation methods in the process of translation, such as reorganization, split, literal translation, free translation, domestication, alienation and so on. Finally, the author summarizes the experiences and shortcomings of the translation practice in order to carry out the translation practice better.
