【摘要】：本文是一篇英译汉小说翻译项目报告。项目原文节选于美国喜剧演员艾米·波勒的处女作《好的,谢谢》第一章。《好的,谢谢》一书是作者艾米的自传,讲述了她的成长经历,以及她热爱而又艰难的喜剧道路,反映了当代美国环境下女性自我价值追求的历程。笔者将《好的,谢谢》一书翻译成中文,有助于中国读者了解美国女性成长环境以及职业奋斗历程。从这一点上看,本次翻译实践可以帮助中国读者了解美国女性生存环境和自我价值的实现过程。在整个翻译过程中,笔者进行了充分的前期准备工作,而后针对整个翻译过程中遇到的重难点进行系统分析,并对此次翻译经验和教训进行了总结,以期为今后的翻译工作积累经验。在案例分析这一章,笔者选取了本次翻译实践中具有代表性的重难点例句,并在尤金·奈达(Eugene · A · Nida)的"功能对等"理论的指导下,以语言风格翻译为切入点,阐释了笔者在翻译过程中是如何处理粗俗语翻译、文化负载词翻译以及俚语的翻译,深入分析例句的翻译过程,旨在为处理类似文本的翻译提供可以借鉴的经验。在此次翻译实践中,笔者认为"功能对等"理论在翻译过程中发挥了重要的指导作用。它教会笔者翻译并不是字与字的死板对应,而是要根据语境、逻辑、行文等因素综合考量,从而使原语读者与目标语读者之间产生相似的反应。因而,笔者在处理翻译难点时,在弄清字面意义的基础上,运用意译、增译、减译或是注释等方法灵活处理译文,从而使译文更加忠实地传达出作者的意思。
[Abstract]:This is a project report on English-Chinese fiction translation. The original excerpt from American comedian Emily Poller's first book, "Okay, Thank you," Chapter 1. "Yes, Thank you" is the autobiography of Amy. This paper tells about her growing up experience and her love and difficult road of comedy, which reflects the course of women's pursuit of self-worth in the contemporary American environment. The author translated the book "good, Thank you" into Chinese. To help Chinese readers understand the American women's growth environment and career history. From this point of view. This translation practice can help Chinese readers to understand the process of realizing women's living environment and self-worth in the United States. Then the paper makes a systematic analysis of the important and difficult points encountered in the whole translation process and summarizes the translation experience and lessons in order to accumulate experience for the future translation work. The author chooses the typical examples of translation practice, and under the guidance of Eugene A. Nida's "functional equivalence" theory. From the perspective of language style translation, the author explains how the author deals with vulgar language translation, culture-loaded words translation and slang translation, and analyzes the translation process of example sentences in depth. The purpose of this paper is to provide some useful experience for the translation of similar texts. The author believes that the "functional equivalence" theory plays an important guiding role in the translation process. It teaches the author that translation is not a rigid correspondence between words and characters, but should be considered comprehensively according to the factors of context, logic and writing. Therefore, when dealing with the translation difficulties, the author uses free translation and incremental translation on the basis of understanding the literal meaning. Methods such as subtraction or annotation are flexible in dealing with the translation, so that the translation conveys the author's meaning more faithfully.
