莫言小说《红高粱家族》葛浩文英译本指误

【摘要】：有学者认为,《红高粱家族》葛浩文英译本以"忠实"为第一准则,是"忠实"与"背叛"的完美结合。事实上,葛浩文译本存在许多误译问题。结合选自葛浩文译本的六个译例,详述了葛译误译所在,并指出了两大可能原因:逻辑思考分析缺位和文化背景知识缺失。同时,针对葛译误译给出了相应的正确译法,强调译者翻译前深入阅读并吃透原文的极端重要性。
[Abstract]:Some scholars believe that the English translation of the Red Sorghum Family takes "faithfulness" as the first criterion and is a perfect combination of "faithfulness" and "betrayal". In fact, There are many problems in the translation of GE Haowen. Combined with the six examples selected from the translation of GE Haowen, this paper elaborates on the location of the translation error, and points out two possible reasons: the absence of logical thinking and analysis and the lack of cultural background knowledge. In this paper, the author puts forward the corresponding correct translation methods for GE translation, and emphasizes the extreme importance of the translator reading and reading the original text thoroughly before translation.
