基于多元系统理论的安徒生童话百年汉译研究

【摘要】: 安徒生童话在中国近百年的旅程历经了从零散的翻译到全译本的出现,伴随着中国儿童文学的发展与特定时代的历史文化烙印走过了一条“光荣的荆棘路”。对这些不同时期产生的多种译本的特征及其产生的原因、接受的情况进行全面历时性描述可以帮助我们更客观地了解安徒生百年汉译事业的伟大意义。 本文在进行描写研究时将安徒生童话分为四个历史时期,结合佐哈尔的多元系统理论及图里的翻译规范,对各个时期安徒生童话汉译在文学多元系统中的地位、译介情况、译本的接受与影响及特定历史条件下的翻译规范进行历时性描述,在进行历史认知的同时也检验多元系统论对安徒生童话百年汉译的解释力。本文共分为五章:第一章为引言,明确了该研究的背景、问题及方法;第二章为研究综述,从中国儿童文学与儿童文学翻译两者的关系出发,对安徒生童话在四个不同时期的汉译进行了简要概述,然后重点回顾了安徒生童话汉译以及多元系统理论两个领域的研究现状与不足;第三章为理论背景,介绍了本文的两个理论出发点:佐哈尔的多元系统理论与图里的三种翻译规范;通过前三章的分析,本文推论出安徒生童话在不同时期的汉译活动深深受到其所处的多元文学系统地位、文化语境及社会条件等因素的制约。第四章为历时性研究,重点描述了四个时期的安徒生童话的主要译者、译本的选择、地位与接受以及翻译规范等,并通过从多元系统理论角度分析四个时期安徒生童话翻译活动的不同特征得出结论:安徒生童话在中国的百年汉译事业有起有落,而译介高潮或低谷的出现多由译本在中国儿童文学多元系统中所处的中心或边缘的位置决定,后者进一步影响了译者对翻译充分性或接受性的选择。同时,安徒生童话译本所处的地位与当时的文化语境、社会条件等诸多因素共同决定了其百年的发展历程中在译本的选择、译本的接受及翻译规范等诸多方面呈现出不同的特点。总的来说,多元系统理论证实对安徒生童话百年翻译的变迁具有较强的宏观解释力。第五章为总结,作者回顾了本文的主要内容,明确了本文的结论,并指出了本研究的意义与不足之处。
[Abstract]:The journey of Andersen's fairy tales in China for nearly one hundred years has gone from scattered translation to the appearance of full translation. Along with the development of Chinese children's literature and the historical and cultural imprint of a specific era, it has gone through a "glorious thorny road". A comprehensive diachronic description of the accepted situation can help us to understand more objectively the great significance of Andersen's century-long career in Chinese-Chinese translation. In this paper, Andersen's fairy tales are divided into four historical periods. Combining with Zohar's theory of multiple systems and the norms of translation in pictures, this paper introduces the status and translation of Andersen's fairy tales in the multi-system of literature in each period. The acceptance and influence of the translation and the diachronic description of the translation norms under certain historical conditions are used to examine the interpretation power of the polysystem theory on the century-old translation of Andersen's fairy tales at the same time as historical cognition. This paper is divided into five chapters: the first chapter is the introduction. The background, problems and methods of the study are clarified. The second chapter is a review of the study, starting from the relationship between Chinese children's literature and children's literature translation, the Chinese translation of Andersen's fairy tales in four different periods is briefly summarized. Then it reviews the current situation and shortcomings of the translation of Andersen's fairy tales into Chinese and the theory of multiple systems. Chapter three is the theoretical background. This paper introduces the two starting points of this thesis: Zohar's theory of multivariate systems and the three translation norms in graph, and through the analysis of the first three chapters, This paper deduces that the translation activities of Andersen's fairy tales in different periods are deeply restricted by its multi-literary status, cultural context and social conditions. Chapter 4th is a diachronic study. The main translators of Andersen's fairy tales in the four periods, the choice, status and acceptance of the translations, and the translation norms are described in detail. By analyzing the different characteristics of Andersen's fairy tale translation activities in four periods from the perspective of multi-system theory, the author draws a conclusion that there are ups and downs in Andersen's fairy tale translation career in China for a hundred years. However, the emergence of the high or low tide of translation is mainly determined by the position of the translation in the multi-system of Chinese children's literature, which further influences the translator's choice of translation adequacy or acceptability. The status of Andersen's fairy tale translation and its cultural context, social conditions and other factors together determine its choice in the course of its century-old development. In general, the multi-system theory proves that the translation of Andersen's fairy tales in the past century has a strong macro-explanatory power. Chapter 5th is a summary. The author reviews the main contents of this paper, clarifies the conclusions of this paper, and points out the significance and shortcomings of this study.
