【摘要】：本论文是英译汉项目翻译报告,翻译任务是林赛·阿姆斯特朗的小说《他是我丈夫》。本翻译实践报告主要运用了奈达的功能对等理论研究翻译实践中出现的难点及应对措施。这部小说的主题是非裔女性对爱情的追求,对家庭的捍卫。小说翻译属于文学翻译的范畴,文学翻译较于其它文体的翻译而言,难度更大。文学翻译不仅要求译者翻译的准确性,还要体现文学翻译文体的特点,也要注意目的语读者的阅读习惯。本文从奈达的功能对等理论进行分析,选取实例,详细阐释及论述该理论对小说《他是我丈夫》翻译策略的指导作用。在翻译策略方面,本篇报告采用了目标读者的语言习惯及背景知识的顺应。在使用翻译策略的基础上,具体问题采用具体翻译方法解决。词语方面运用了词性变通,增减词汇,直译,意译等翻译策略;句子方面采用句序调整、分译等翻译策略。报告最后论述译者在翻译实践中遇到的问题以及需要努力的方向。小说情节丰富,环境渲染力强,有时字字对译按部就班的翻译往往不尽如人意,因此应借助一定的翻译理论来解决问题。由于译者本身对理论的掌握不够到位,背景知识了解的太少导致本翻译实践报告存在一定的局限性。这是译者今后需要努力的方向。
[Abstract]:This paper is the translation report of English-to-Chinese Project. The translation task is Lindsey Armstrong's novel "he is my husband." this translation practice report mainly uses Nida's functional equivalence theory to study the difficulties and countermeasures in translation practice. The theme of this novel is:. African-American women's pursuit of love, The defense of family. Novel translation belongs to the category of literary translation, and literary translation is more difficult than other forms of translation. Literary translation not only requires the translator's translation accuracy, but also embodies the characteristics of literary translation style. We should also pay attention to the reading habits of the target language readers. This paper analyzes Nida's functional equivalence theory, selects examples, explains and discusses in detail the guiding role of this theory in the translation strategies of the novel "he is my husband". This report adopts the language habits of the target readers and the adaptation of background knowledge. On the basis of using translation strategies, the specific problems are solved by specific translation methods. In terms of words, part of speech adaptation, addition and subtraction of vocabulary, literal translation are used. Some translation strategies, such as free translation, sentence order adjustment and partial translation, are adopted. Finally, the report discusses the problems encountered by the translator in translation practice and the direction that needs to be worked on. The novel is rich in plot and strong in environmental rendering. Sometimes word-to-word translation is often not satisfactory, so we should use some translation theory to solve the problem. Because the translator does not have enough knowledge of the theory, it is necessary to solve the problem with the help of some translation theories. Too little background knowledge leads to the limitations of this translation practice report, which is the direction of translators' efforts in the future.
