关联理论视角下《朝花夕拾》中汉语文化负载词的翻译策略研究

【摘要】：文化负载词是指文化中具有特定文化内涵的词。作为文化的载体,文化负载词可以直接或间接地反映一个民族的历史、文化、宗教、思维习惯和生活方式。同时,文化负载词也给翻译实践和文化交流带来了很大的挑战,因为其翻译质量的好坏直接影响到翻译文本的质量和文化的交流。一部优秀作品中的文化负载词往往是目标读者正确了解原作品,了解作品中所蕴含的丰富文化内涵的关键。因此,在翻译文学作品时,重视原作品中文化负载词的涵义就显得特别重要。关联理论认为,言语交际是一种明示与推理的过程。而交际的核心是寻找最佳关联,进而推理出交际者的意图。根据关联理论,翻译是一个包括原文作者、译者和译文读者三者关系的双重明示-推理过程,翻译的成功在于在原文作者与译文读者之间获得最佳关联。本文选取杨宪益和戴乃迭夫妇的合译本为研究对象,以关联理论作为主要理论框架,在参阅相关文献材料的基础上,研究《朝花夕拾》译文中文化负载词的翻译,证明关联理论对文化翻译同样具有强大的解释力。通过剖析《朝花夕拾》中汉语文化负载词的翻译方法,探究译者选取的翻译策略是否取得最佳关联进而提出文化负载词翻译的有关建议。概而言之,就是在关联理论框架下,译者一方面要能从原文字句中准确体会出原文作者的意图,另一方面,还必须了解目标语读者的认知语境,从而选择不同的翻译策略,最终取得二者之间的最佳关联。本文共分六章。第一章是导论,介绍关联理论及其理论的发展状况以及目前对鲁迅的《朝花夕拾》的研究状况,指出本论文将从新的理论视角—关联理论出发,以《朝花夕拾》为个案,探讨其汉语文化负载词的翻译策略。第二章是文献综述部分,介绍文化负载词,关联理论及《朝花夕拾》。并阐述《朝花夕拾》的翻译研究现状。作为鲁迅先生写的唯一一部以自我经历为主线的回忆散文集,《朝花夕拾》描写了作者对童年和青年时期的回忆,展现了当时的社会习俗,风土人情,因此含有大量具有中国文化特色的文化负载词,而中国文化负载词是中国文化的载体,因此,文化负载词的翻译直接影响了目标读者对原文作品的理解以和中国与世界的文化交流。第三章介绍了本文的重要理论基础—关联理论—及其在翻译领域的应用。分别介绍了关联理论的定义及重要概念。]986年,丹·斯波伯(Dan Sperber)和狄杰尔·威尔逊(Deirdre Wilson)提出的关联理论从认知的角度分析在言语交际中遇到的问题,认为言语交际是一个明示——推理的过程,提出交际的核心是寻找最佳关联进而推理出交际者的意图。厄恩斯特·格特(Ernst August Gutt)成功地将关联理论引入了翻译研究,他认为,翻译是一个双重的明示-推理过程,在这过程中涉及到原文作者、译者和译文读者,而翻译要想成功,原文作者与译文读者之间需获得最佳关联。第四章从关联理论的角度对文化负载词进行了介绍和分析。分别介绍文化负载词的定义,分类,并从关联理论角度分析文化负载词的形成,并提出关联理论下文化负载词的翻译准则。论文根据尤金奈达对文化因素的划分,将《朝花夕拾》中出现的全部文化负载词归为五大类,即生态文化负载词,社会文化负载词,物质文化负载词,宗教文化负载词和语言文化负载词。在关联理论框架下,作者提出文化负载词的翻译准则以便指导译者使其译文能产生足够的语境效果而不增加目标读者的处理能力最后取得最佳关联。这一章节从关联理论角度对《朝花夕拾》中文化负载词的翻译进行研究,总结杨宪益夫妇所采用的主要翻译策略,从关联理论角度下评析《朝花夕拾》中对五种文化负载词的所采用的翻译策略,进而尝试提出更好的翻译方法。最后一部分是结论。作者通过对《朝花夕拾》中文化负载词翻译策略的分析讨论,总结关联理论指导下文化负载词的诸多翻译方法,并进一步指出本论文意在探究关联理论视角下文学作品中文化负载词的最佳翻译策略,从而证明关联理论对翻译实践具有强大的诠释力。
[Abstract]:Culture loaded words refer to words with specific cultural connotations in culture. As the carrier of culture, cultural loaded words can directly or indirectly reflect the history, culture, religion, thinking habits and lifestyle of a nation. At the same time, culture loaded words also bring great challenges to translation practice and cultural flow, because the quality of translation is good. Bad influence directly affects the quality of translation text and cultural exchange. A culture loaded word in an excellent work is often the key to the target readers to understand the original works correctly and understand the rich cultural connotation in the works. Therefore, it is particularly important to attach importance to the meaning of the Chinese loaded words in the original works. The theory holds that verbal communication is a process of ostensive and inferential. The core of communication is to find the best connection and then to deduce the communicative intention. According to the relevance theory, translation is a double ostensive inferential process including the three relations between the original author, the translator and the translation reader, and the success of translation lies in the original writer and the translation reader. In this paper, the translation of Yang Xianyi and Dai Naidie is selected as the research object, and the relevance theory is used as the main theoretical framework. On the basis of related literature and materials, the translation of culture loaded words in the "sunset" and the translation is studied. It is proved that relevance theory has a strong explanatory power to cultural translation. This paper analyzes the translation method of Chinese culture loaded words in Chinese and Korean, explores the best relevance of the translation strategies selected by the translator and then puts forward some suggestions on the translation of cultural loaded words. It is necessary to understand the cognitive context of the target language readers, so as to choose different translation strategies and finally achieve the best relationship between the two. This article is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, introducing the development of the theory and theory of relevance and the current research on Lu Xun's "the sunset and picking up", and points out that this thesis will be from a new theoretical perspective. The second chapter is the literature review part, which introduces the culture loaded words, the relevance theory and the "the sunset and the sunset >", and expounds the present situation of the translation study of "the sunset and the sunset >" as the only recollection prose set by Mr. Lu Xun as the main line of self experience, < It describes the author's memories of childhood and youth, showing the social customs and customs of the time, and therefore contains a large number of cultural loaded words with Chinese cultural characteristics, and the Chinese culture loaded words are the carrier of Chinese culture. Therefore, the translation of cultural loaded words directly affects the understanding of the target readers to the original works. In the third chapter, the third chapter introduces the important theoretical basis of this paper - relevance theory - and its application in the field of translation. It introduces the definition and important concept of Relevance Theory in.]986, and the relevance theory proposed by Dan Spobo (Dan Sperber) and Diger Wilson (Deirdre Wilson) from the Perspective of cognition. An analysis of the problems encountered in verbal communication is that verbal communication is a process of ostensive inferential, that the core of the communication is to find the best relevance and then to deduce the intention of the communicator. Ernst Gert (Ernst August Gutt) successfully introduced relevance theory to translation studies, and he believed that translation is a double ostensive inferential theory. The fourth chapter introduces and analyzes the culture loaded words from the angle of relevance theory. The definition, classification and analysis of cultural load words are introduced and analyzed from the angle of relevance theory. According to Eugene Nida's division of cultural factors, according to the division of cultural factors, the thesis categorized all the cultural load words in the "sunset and sunset" into five categories, namely, ecological culture load words, social culture loaded words, material culture loaded words, religious culture loaded words and language culture. Under the framework of relevance theory, the author proposes the translation criteria of cultural loaded words so as to guide the translator to produce sufficient contextual effects without increasing the processing ability of the target readers. This chapter studies the translation of the culturally loaded words in the "morning and sunset" from the angle of relevance theory. The main translation strategies adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Yang Xianyi, from the perspective of relevance theory, analyze the translation strategies adopted in the five culture loaded words in the sunset, and then try to put forward a better translation method. The last part is the conclusion. Under the guidance of many methods of translation of cultural loaded words, this paper further points out that this thesis is intended to explore the best translation strategies of cultural loaded words in literary works from the perspective of relevance theory, which proves that relevance theory has a strong explanatory power to translation practice.
