庞德英译《诗经》中的创造性叛逆研究

【摘要】:《诗经》是我国第一部诗歌总集,是中国文学、文化发展的源头。作为《五经》之一,《诗经》历来是学者、译家的重点关注对象。《诗经》的英译已有近三百年的历史,英国的詹姆斯·理雅各、阿瑟·韦利、美国的埃兹拉·庞德等都是著名的《诗经》翻译家。本文所讨论的《诗经》译者埃兹拉·庞德兼具诗人与翻译家双重身份,且是20世纪西方文坛的领军人物。他出版的《诗经》英译本《诗经:孔子所审定的古典诗集》虽然被认为是具有诗歌特质的译本,但与原文相比存在很大的差异。庞译《诗经》的诸多创造性叛逆使之历来颇受争议,尽管庞德与中国的研究在中国近年来取得了较为丰硕的成果,但庞译《诗经》的研究还有待深入。本文从译介学视角探讨庞德《诗经》英译中的创造性叛逆现象:首先对《诗经》及庞德概况进行介绍,并对《诗经》英译本、《诗经》英译研究、庞译《诗经》研究进行了梳理;继而阐述了本文的理论基础——译介学理论及其核心命题“创造性叛逆”;在论文主体部分,从诗歌形式的诗节与诗行、语言上的汉字处理、儒家思想再现等方面对庞译《诗经》中的创造性叛逆进行梳理与分析,并通过译介学理论中创造性叛逆的相关论述来探究其产生的原因。通过研究发现,《诗经》庞译本中的创造性叛逆是庞德诗学主张的体现与延续,是他为当时物质与精神“荒原”下混乱的西方社会文化复兴所采取的措施。
[Abstract]:The Book of songs is the first collection of Chinese poetry and the source of the development of Chinese literature and culture. As one of the five Classics, the Book of songs has always been the focus of attention of scholars and translators. The translation of the Book of songs into English has a history of nearly three hundred years. American Ezra pound is a famous translator of the Book of songs. The translator of the Book of songs, Ezra pound, is both a poet and a translator, and a leader in the 20th century western literature. His English translation of the Book of songs: a Collection of Classical Poems approved by Confucius is considered to be a poetic translation, but it is quite different from the original version. Many creative rebellions in Pang's translation of the Book of songs have always been controversial. Although the studies of pound and China have made fruitful achievements in China in recent years, the study of Pooh's Translation of the Book of songs has yet to be further studied. This paper probes into the phenomenon of creative treason in the English translation of pound's Book of songs from the perspective of translatology: firstly, it introduces the Book of songs and pound's general situation, and combs the English translation of the Book of songs, the study of the English translation of the Book of songs, and the study of Pang's translation of the Book of songs. Then it expounds the theoretical basis of this thesis-the theory of translatology and its core proposition of "creative treason", and in the main part of the thesis, it deals with Chinese characters in the form of poems and lines of poetry. This paper analyzes the creative treason in Pang's Translation of the Book of songs from the aspects of reappearance of Confucian thought, and probes into the reasons for its emergence through the relevant expositions of creative treason in the theory of translation and introduction. Through the study, it is found that the creative treason in the translation of the Book of songs is the embodiment and continuation of pound's poetics and his measures for the revival of western society and culture under the material and spiritual "wasteland" at that time.
