丁尼生《公主》的早期跨文体翻译研究及译介学思考

【摘要】：英国诗人丁尼生的叙事诗《公主》,最初以中国传统章回小说的体例被译介到中国,题为《公主之提倡女学》。这一译本较之于原诗,在文体、内容、审美风格等诸多方面发生了显著变化。这既与原诗内容和译者的翻译主旨相关,也与"小说"这一文体的特征和功能密不可分,同时反映了晚清到"五四"前后中国小说的文学地位和文学处境的变化。《公主之提倡女学》为译者如何合理利用本民族的文学传统,从而使译文与原著在审美上相映成趣、更好地与译入语文化相融合,提供了诸多启示及成功的翻译范本。
[Abstract]:The English poet Tennyson's narrative poem Princess was originally translated into China by the style of Chinese traditional Zhang Hui novel entitled "Princess's Advocacy of Women". Compared with the original poem, the translation has undergone significant changes in style, content, aesthetic style and so on. This is not only related to the content of the original poem and the translation purport of the translator, but also to the features and functions of the novel. At the same time, it reflects the changes in the literary status and literary situation of Chinese novels before and after the late Qing Dynasty to the May 4th Movement. Better integration with the target culture provides many inspirations and successful translation models.
