哈克·芬和哈利·波特的自由精神 ——用存在主义哲学比较分析《哈克贝利·芬》和《哈利·波特》

本论文从存在主义哲学的角度对比分析了马克·吐温的《哈克贝利·芬历险记》和J．K．罗琳的哈利·波特系列小说（前四本）。《哈克贝利·芬历险记》和哈利·波特系列小说虽然都不是存在主义哲学著作，但是它们描写的是具体的存在本身，对存在有独到的理解，并且指明一条走出人生困境的光明大道。哈克和哈利告诉人们在荒诞的现实世界中自由选择是走出危机获得自我解放的信念之路。这两位少年英雄是自由精神的代表。哈克和哈利都揭示了现代文明给人类带来了恐慌。如果说哈克的历险是对自我的挑战的话，那么哈利的历险则是对生命的挑战。工业文明时期，哈克的理想王国是地图上可见的密西西比河，后工业文明时期，地球上最后一片净土也被机器吞噬了，哈利只能在虚幻假想的魔法世界里找到自我。哈克的密西西比王国能给他安宁和身心的愉悦，而哈利的霍格沃茨魔法学校却无时不潜伏着生死攸关的阴谋。哈利每次战胜伏地魔除了勇气决心和信念外，都离不开他人的帮助，这就暗示人类要摆脱生存困境单凭个人的力量是不够的，集体的力量和智慧，团队精神才是人类最后的法宝，哈克式的个人英雄主义时代一去不复返。
