“改写”理论下的《黑奴吁天录》删除现象

【摘要】：《黑奴吁天录》是《汤姆叔叔的小屋》(Uncle Tom's Cabin)最早的版本,也是“林译小说”中一部著名的作品。林纾采用的翻译手段中,删除现象最为常见,同时它也是林译小说被批评的焦点所在。 “改写”(rewriting),泛指对文学原作进行的翻译、改写、编选、批评和编辑等各种加工和调整过程。随着文学作品的普遍通俗化、专业读者和非专业读者的进一步分化,以及世界范围内的文化交融,对文学原作的改写形式也就更显出其在文学演变过程中的举足轻重的作用。安德烈·勒弗维尔(Andre Lefevere)指出,在不同的历史条件下,改写主要受到两方面的限制：意识形态、诗学。同时,赞助人也是一个重要影响因素。本文旨在结合勒弗维尔的“改写”理论,利用其三个主要因素对林纾《黑奴吁天录》中的删除现象进行深层次的分析。综合分析得出,林纾对人物昵称、宗教内容、女性描写和评论、每章标题、作者评论描述性内容、人物外貌心理描写、景物描写七种现象的删除,受当时特定意识形态、诗学和赞助人的影响。虽然译著改变了原小说的本来面貌,但是符合了当时读者的阅读期待,由此风行国内。
[Abstract]:Black Slave exhortation is the earliest edition of Uncle Tom's Cabin, and it is also a famous work in Forest Translation Fiction. Among the translation methods used by Lin Shu, deletion is the most common phenomenon, and it is also the focus of criticism. "rewriting" refers in general to the process of processing and adjusting the translation, rewriting, editing, criticism and editing of the original literary works. With the popularization of literary works, the further differentiation of professional and non-professional readers, And the cultural convergence around the world, and the rewriting of the original literary form is even more important in the evolution of literature. Andre Lefevererev 茅, points out that under different historical conditions, Rewriting is mainly limited by two aspects: ideology, poetics, and patronage as an important factor. The purpose of this paper is to make a deep analysis of the deletion phenomenon in Lin Shu's Negrou Book of Heaven by three main factors combined with Lefevere's theory of "rewriting". The comprehensive analysis shows that Lin Shu has a deep understanding of the nicknames and religious contents of the characters. The female description and comment, each chapter title, the author comments descriptive content, the character appearance psychology description, the scene description seven phenomena deletion, receives at that time the specific ideology, The influence of poetics and patronage. Although the translation changed the original appearance of the novel, it was in line with the reading expectations of the readers at that time, so it became popular in China.
