【摘要】：本文旨在运用诺斯罗普·弗莱的原型理论对伊恩·麦克尤恩的获奖作品《赎罪》中的圣经原型进行分析。迄今为止，国内外的批评家还未采用这一特定的视角进行深入的评论。本论文通过对小说中的圣经原型展开全面系统的研究，，可以将这部作品纳入文学的整体研究中，并帮助读者更好地理解与欣赏这部小说。除了引言和结论部分，本论文的主体部分由四章组成。引言部分提供了关于伊恩·麦克尤恩和小说《赎罪》的背景信息，综述了迄今为止国内外关于《赎罪》的评论观点，随后简要介绍了诺斯罗普·弗莱的原型理论，并指出了本论文研究的重要性。第一章主要从意象角度分析了小说中移位置换的三个圣经原型。首先，塔利斯家族庄园再现了伊甸园意象，充分展示了如伊甸园般的美丽与和谐。其次，洪水意象被置换为第二次世界大战中的德国纳粹空军。小说中描写了德国纳粹空军像洪水一样势不可挡，具有毁灭性的力量。此外，负责运输英国士兵撤离敦刻尔克的疏散艇是诺亚方舟的移位置换。疏散艇与基督教的观念框架有关，象征着救援实为有条件的拣选。第二章主要关注小说中主要人物身上所体现的圣经原型。从罗比·特纳身上的三大特征来看，他的原型是耶稣基督。而圣徒保罗是小说主人公布里奥尼·塔利斯的原型，她幼年犯罪，并用余生赎罪。劳拉·昆西则源于淫妇大力拉这一圣经原型人物。第三章阐述了小说中包含的圣经原型叙事结构。同圣经一样，这篇小说是是一部围绕主人公命运的喜剧，并内含一个微型的U型故事，巧妙运用了循环的U型叙事模式，构成了一种喜剧的多声部交相辉映的艺术。第四章深入探讨了小说中隐含的圣经赎罪主题。首先，小说表达了布里奥尼赎罪的欲望。由于这一欲望与现实相冲突，小说描写了她遇到的重重障碍。最终，通过基督耶稣，布里奥尼圆满完成了赎罪。基于上述四章的分析探讨，本文的结论是：《赎罪》是一部充满了圣经原型的喜剧杰作，圣经原型将这部独特的小说纳入源自《圣经》的神话世界，有助于广大读者整合统一他们的文学体验。
[Abstract]:This paper aims to analyze the biblical archetypes in Ian McEwan's award-winning work Atonement by using Northrop Frye's archetypal theory. So far, critics at home and abroad have not used this particular perspective to conduct in-depth comments. Through a comprehensive and systematic study of the Biblical archetypes in the novel, this thesis can incorporate the novel into the overall study of literature and help readers better understand and appreciate the novel. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the main part of this paper consists of four chapters. The introduction provides background information about Ian McEwan and the novel Atonement, summarizes the comments on Atonement at home and abroad so far, and then briefly introduces Northrop Foley's prototype theory. The importance of this paper is pointed out. The first chapter analyzes three biblical archetypes of displacement substitution in the novel from the perspective of image. First of all, the family estate of Tallis reproduced the image of Eden, fully demonstrating the beauty and harmony as the Garden of Eden. Second, the flood image was replaced by the Nazi Air Force in World War II. The novel depicts the German Nazi Air Force as unstoppable and devastating as a flood. In addition, the evacuation boat responsible for transporting British soldiers out of Dunkirk was the displacement of Noah's Ark. Evacuation boats are associated with Christian conceptual frameworks that symbolize conditional selection of aid. The second chapter focuses on the biblical archetypes embodied in the main characters of the novel. According to the three characteristics of Robbie Turner, his archetype is Jesus Christ. Saint Paul is the archetype of Briony Tallis, who committed crimes as a child and made atonement for the rest of her life. Laura Quincy, on the other hand, originates from the prostitute, a biblical archetypal figure. The third chapter expounds the biblical archetypal narrative structure contained in the novel. Like the Bible, this novel is a comedy about the fate of the protagonist, and contains a miniature U-shaped story, which skillfully utilizes the circular U-shaped narrative mode and constitutes a kind of comic multi-voice-matching art. Chapter four explores the theme of Scripture atonement in the novel. First, the novel expresses Briony's desire for atonement. Because of the conflict between this desire and reality, the novel describes the obstacles she encountered. In the end, through Christ Jesus, Briony successfully completed atonement. Based on the above four chapters, this paper concludes that Atonement is a comedy masterpiece full of biblical archetypes, which brings this unique novel into the mythological world from the Bible. It helps the readers to integrate and unify their literary experience.
