【摘要】：根据加拿大著名文论家琳达哈琴提出的“历史编纂元小说”的定义，历史编纂元小说将问题化的对待历史和元小说的自我指涉性结合在一起，历史编纂元小说是历史编纂和元小说的结合。 菲利普罗斯是当代美国文坛一位多产并且富有影响力的作家。他作品一直是国内外研究的焦点。一些强调像身份认可这样的主题,另一些传递作者的历史观：无数潜在可能性构成历史真相。因此，他质问官方版本历史的可信性。出版于2004年的《反美阴谋》便是个例证。论文试图从历史编纂元小说角度去阐释《反美阴谋》,给目前研究提供新的思路。 论文结构安排如下： 第一章简要介绍了小说作者菲利普罗斯的生平和作品，考证了《反美阴谋》的国内外研究现状。 第二章提供了历史编纂元小说的理论框架，给出了这个术语的综合定义，分析了一些和历史编纂元小说相关的问题，例如问题化对待历史和历史的互文性，元小说的自我指涉性，叙述角度的转移，戏仿的功能。总结了历史编纂元小说的主要特征，包括历史书写的不可靠性，戏仿著名历史人物和事件，挑战官方历史的权威性。 第三章证实了《反美阴谋》是历史编纂元小说。首先这部作品是历史编纂和元小说的完美结合，其次历史编纂元小说所特有的叙述技巧和文学特征在这部作品中大量存在，包括自我指涉性，叙述角度的转移，互文性，聚焦于边缘人物以及冲突的观点对话式复调。最后小说体现了历史编纂元小说的主要特征，即历史书写的不可靠性，戏仿历史人物和事件及质疑官方历史的权威。 第四章探讨了重构“反事实”历史的意义。论文笔者认为，重构历史传递了作者的历史观并且其功能相当于政治寓言。 第五章为论文结论部分，即《反美阴谋》既是历史和虚构的很好结合，，也是历史编纂和元小说的完美结合，反映了各自的特征。
