文学名著改编的创造性舞台转化——音乐剧《麦琪的礼物》创作谈

【摘要】：由四川人民艺术剧院创排的音乐剧《麦琪的礼物》改编自美国作家欧·亨利的同名短篇小说,讲述了一对穷困的年轻夫妇德拉与吉姆互赠圣诞礼物的故事,情节动人,主题鲜明,引发了观众对当下生活的深层思考。本文从"欧·亨利式"结尾的舞台转化、高潮场面的全新解构、舞台现代性的综合表达三个方面详细阐述了在由小说改编成音乐剧的过程中,笔者如何通过创造性舞台转化艺术地叙述故事情节,展示人物心理,表现出文学名著强大的生命力,并随时代和社会发展挖掘其新内涵,从而创作出一部具有独立艺术价值与品格的音乐剧作品。
[Abstract]:The musical "Gift of Maggie", created by the Sichuan people's Art Theatre, is based on American writer O'Henry 's short story of the same name, which tells a moving story about a poor young couple, Della and Jim, giving each other Christmas gifts. The theme is clear, has caused the audience to the present life deep thought. This paper expounds in detail the process of adaptation from novels to musicals from three aspects: the stage transformation at the end of O Henry's style, the new deconstruction of the climax scene and the comprehensive expression of stage modernity. How to describe the story, show the characters' psychology, show the strong vitality of the literary masterpieces, and excavate its new connotation for the generation and the social development at any time, through the creative stage transformation art narration plot, the author displays the character psychology, In order to create a musical with independent artistic value and character.
