林译小说的译者主体性研究

【摘要】：上个世纪90年代,很多学者纷纷将目光投向于“译者的角色”问题上,随之有关“译者主体性”的研究也应运而生。译者作为一个具有独立思维能力、个人文化视角及价值观的生命体,整个翻译过程是其主体性及主观能动性的彰显。纵观国内外,目前对译者主体性的研究还处于探索及发展阶段,所关注的更多是对翻译理论、技巧和策略问题的探讨,而对译者主体性因素如译者的个人能力、个人素质及其翻译动机和策略还没有专门的研究分析。本论文结合林纾及其译作“林译小说”为研究对象,从以上角度对其译者主体性进行研究。本论文以林纾为研究对象,以“林译小说”为文本,通过对原作与译作间的研究分析,跳出常规的语言学规范,以“林译小说”的“误译”入手,分三章探讨林纾作为译者的主观因素:个人能力和素质、文本选择、翻译动机及其采取的翻译策略,以期发现译者的主观因素对其翻译的密不可分的影响。结论认为,林纾的个人能力和素养使得他的翻译独树一帜,很好地体现了他作为译者的主体性;林纾的翻译并非恣意而为,而是出于或情感宣泄或唤醒国人的动机,正是这样的动机赢得了读者的赞同,使得林译小说取得成功;林纾的翻译策略是建立在文化沟通的基础上的,通过删、增、变等策略,体现了林纾在文化传递方面的选择。由此,在译作的评价方面,考虑译者的个人能力、文学素质与修养以及翻译动机很是重要,特别是在文学翻译领域。
[Abstract]:In -10s, many scholars have turned their attention to the issue of "translator's role", and then the study of "translator's subjectivity" has emerged as the times require. The translator, as an independent thinking ability, came into being. The whole translation process of individual cultural perspective and values is the manifestation of subjectivity and subjectivity. At home and abroad, the study of translator's subjectivity is still in the stage of exploration and development, and much attention is paid to the study of translation theory, techniques and strategies. However, there is no specific analysis of the translator's subjective factors such as the translator's personal competence, personal qualities and translation motives and strategies. From the above point of view, the translator's subjectivity is studied. This thesis takes Lin Shu as the research object, takes "the translated novel" as the text, through the research analysis between the original and the translated work, jumps out of the conventional linguistic norm, and starts with the "wrong translation" of the "forest translation novel". There are three chapters to explore the subjective factors of Lin Shu as a translator: personal competence and quality, text selection, translation motivation and translation strategies adopted by Lin Shu. The author hopes to find out the influence of the translator's subjective factors on his translation. The conclusion is that Lin Shu's personal ability and accomplishment make his translation unique and reflect his subjectivity as a translator. Lin Shu's translation is not wanton, but out of or out of emotional catharsis or awaken the motivation of the Chinese people, it is this motivation that won the reader's approval, which makes Lin's novel successful; Lin Shu's translation strategy is based on cultural communication, which reflects Lin Shu's choice in cultural transmission by deleting, adding and changing. Therefore, in the evaluation of the translated works, the translator's individual ability is considered. Literary quality and accomplishment as well as translation motivation are very important, especially in the field of literary translation.
