中国古典诗歌的可译性与不可译性

【摘要】：诗歌翻译一直以来是一个颇有争议的问题。许多语言学家、诗人甚至翻译家不赞成诗歌的翻译,认为诗歌的翻译是不可能的,甚至不应当进行诗歌的翻译。但同时又有很多的翻译家进行诗歌翻译的尝试,并且成功的翻译出了很多优秀的诗歌。本篇文章主要研究的是中国古典诗歌的可译性与不可译性问题。本文认为中国的古典诗歌是可译的。论文分为五章。第一章是论文内容的简要介绍及选择这个题目的原因。第二章探讨了诗歌翻译的原则和标准,提出刘重德的“信、达、切”是中国古典诗歌英译应遵循的原则和标准。第三章论述了可译性和不可译性的问题,并得出结论:尽管在中国的古典诗歌的翻译过程中可能会遇到一些困难,但是中国古典诗歌总的来说是可译的。因此可译性的问题研究的是可译的程度问题。不同的诗的可译程度可能不同,但是随着时代的发展,可译性程度会逐渐提高。第四章和第五章分别对中国古典诗歌的意象和风格的可译进行了论述,并加以例子说明,同时提出了一些中国古典诗歌在翻译过程中的对意象和风格的处理方法。
[Abstract]:Poetry translation has always been a controversial issue. Many linguists, poets and even translators disapprove of poetry translation, and think that poetry translation is impossible or even should not be translated. But at the same time, there are many translators trying to translate poetry, and successfully translated a lot of excellent poetry. This article mainly studies the translatability and untranslatability of Chinese classical poetry. This paper argues that Chinese classical poetry is translatable. The paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is a brief introduction of the content of the paper and the reasons for choosing this topic. The second chapter discusses the principles and standards of poetry translation, and points out that Liu Zhongde's "letter, fulfillment and cut" are the principles and standards that should be followed in the translation of Chinese classical poetry into English. Chapter three discusses the problems of translatability and untranslatability, and concludes that although some difficulties may be encountered in the process of translating Chinese classical poetry, Chinese classical poetry is generally translatable. So the problem of translatability is the degree of translatability. Different poems may have different translatability, but with the development of the times, the translatability will be improved gradually. The fourth and fifth chapters respectively discuss the translatability of the image and style of Chinese classical poetry, and give some examples to illustrate it. At the same time, the author puts forward some methods to deal with the image and style in the process of translation of Chinese classical poetry.
