“第十一届国际哥特协会大会”在英国举行

【摘要】：正2013年8月5日至8日,"第十一届国际哥特协会大会"在英国萨里大学隆重召开。这次大会由国际哥特协会主办,萨里大学英文和语言学院协办。与会学者有二百多名,分别来自英国、美国、德国、加拿大、巴西、澳大利亚等二十七个不同国家和地区。在剑桥大学访学交流的笔者出席了大会。与会学者包括:两位时任国际哥特协会主席,即谢菲尔德大学的安德鲁·斯密斯文学教授和巴斯斯巴大学的威廉·休斯文学教授、历任协会主席戴维·庞特文
[Abstract]:The Eleventh International Gothic Association Congress was held at the University of Surrey from August 5 to 8, 2013. The Congress was hosted by the International Gothic Association and co-sponsored by the College of English and Language of Surrey University. More than 200 scholars attended the Congress from 27 different countries, including Britain, the United States, Germany, Canada, Brazil and Australia. The participants included two then chairmen of the International Gothic Association, Andrew Smith Professor of Literature at Sheffield University and William Hughes Professor of Literature at the University of Baseball and David Pontwen, successive chairmen of the Association.
