寒山热与英译寒山诗的解构主义解读

【摘要】：本文以“原文依靠译文存活”的解构主义理论为基础,以“寒山诗英译”引发的“寒山热”为切入点,就原文与译文的关系,以及不同英译寒山诗文本对“寒山热”的影响因素进行了对比分析和研究。本论文首先论述了英语译入语国家的寒山诗歌翻译热和研究热这一“寒山热”文学现象,即由译文引发的众多译者对寒山诗的翻译,特别是韦利、华生和斯奈德等几位的创造性翻译吸引了许多的译者加入了翻译寒山诗的行列,版本的多样性既激发了更多学者研究英译寒山诗的热情,同时也对寒山诗的阅读传播起到了推波助澜的作用。然后阐述了由译文及译文研究所引发的原语“寒山热”,即由中国香港和台湾学者最初的寒山诗歌翻译研究而引发的大陆学者对寒山诗及其本人的相关研究。再通过对比分析论证了解构主义翻译理论关于“原文依靠译文存活”的原-译本再生关系,以及译者与原文作者的平等关系和翻译的创造性,即“原文本想生存下去,就必须要依靠译本,而且是好的译本；好的译本赋予原文本新的生命,甚至可以超越原文本”。最后进一步论证了解构主义理论对翻译研究和翻译实践活动的潜在解释力。
