英汉体育新闻报道中概念隐喻认知对比研究

【摘要】：隐喻最早作为修辞学上的一个术语提出，自亚里士多德至今已有两千多年的历史。1980年，Lakoff和Johnson共同出版了《我们赖以生存的隐喻》一书，将隐喻纳入人的行为活动、思维方式、概念范畴等领域，他们提出的概念隐喻理论指出隐喻不仅是一种修辞手法,更是一种思维方式。体育新闻报导中运用到大量的隐喻，而之前多数学者对体育报导中隐喻的研究比较局限，大多数学者仅仅对“体育即战争”这一隐喻结构进行了研究，对体育新闻报导中概念隐喻的认知研究并不够全面系统。本文研究以2012年伦敦奥运会比赛期间体育新闻报导的题目为研究对象，语料的收集来自于网上伦敦奥运专栏中的报导，英语材料选自于China Daily英文网London Olympic Games专栏，汉语材料选自体坛网“2012伦敦奥运”专栏。研究以Lakoff的概念隐喻为理论框架，运用定性和定量的研究方法，依据Lakoff概念隐喻中结构隐喻、本体隐喻、方位隐喻的三种分类，将体育新闻中常出现的战争隐喻、旅途隐喻、戏剧隐喻、自然隐喻、动物隐喻、测试隐喻、植物隐喻、鬼神隐喻、容器隐喻、实体隐喻、人类隐喻以及上下方位隐喻进行归类，，对比发现了中英体育新闻标题中概念隐喻使用的异同，并试图从认知角度对造成这些相同或不同概念隐喻的原因进行了阐释,指出人类认知能力有其相似性，分享着相同的身体体验和相似的经历，在体育隐喻描述中，英汉两种语言往往使用相同的隐喻概念。但由于两种语言在文化和思想观念等方面有一定的差异性，两种语言中的隐喻式表达在相同的概念隐喻中又有一定差异。
[Abstract]:Metaphor was first put forward as a rhetorical term. It has been more than two thousand years since Aristotle. In 1980, Lakoff and Johnson jointly published metaphor for our existence, which incorporated metaphor into human behavior and way of thinking. In the field of conceptual category and other fields, their conceptual metaphor theory points out that metaphor is not only a rhetorical device, but also a way of thinking. A large number of metaphors are used in sports news reports. However, previous researches on metaphor in sports reporting are limited. Most scholars have only studied the metaphorical structure of "Sport is War", and the cognitive study of conceptual metaphor in sports news reports is not comprehensive and systematic enough. In this paper, the title of sports news reports during the 2012 London Olympic Games is taken as the research object. The corpus is collected from the online London Olympics column. The English materials are selected from the London Olympic Games column of China Daily. Chinese materials are selected from the column of "London Olympics 2012". The study takes Lakoff's conceptual metaphor as the theoretical framework, uses qualitative and quantitative research methods, according to three categories of structural metaphor, ontological metaphor and orientation metaphor in Lakoff conceptual metaphor. This paper classifies the war metaphor, travel metaphor, drama metaphor, natural metaphor, animal metaphor, test metaphor, plant metaphor, ghost metaphor, container metaphor, entity metaphor, human metaphor and upper and lower orientation metaphor in sports news. This paper finds out the similarities and differences in the use of conceptual metaphors in Chinese and English sports news headlines, and attempts to explain the causes of the same or different conceptual metaphors from the cognitive point of view, and points out that human cognitive ability has its similarities. Sharing the same physical experience and similar experience, both English and Chinese often use the same metaphorical concepts in the description of sports metaphors. However, due to the differences between the two languages in terms of culture and ideology, etc. The metaphorical expressions in the two languages are different from each other in the same conceptual metaphors.
