“全都……只有……”构式的认知语用分析

【摘要】：语言中存在大量具体的非理想的语言事实，对这些具体的边缘的语言现象进行个案研究，可以更全面的描绘语言结构的特征，揭示其产生和使用的动因，也为我们重新审视语法在语言结构中的地位，了解语言与认知的关系提供了契机。本文的研究对象是汉语中表达“全都……只有……”含义的一类句子。在已有研究的基础上，本文试图较为全面地概括这类句子的特征，认识其前后矛盾的原因并分析这类句子在认知和语用方面的动因。本文的研究成果说明这类句子反映了人类认知的一些基本规律，它们虽然违反语法规则，但仍然是可以被接受的，称它们为病句并不合适。对这类句子进行过分析的学者主要有于根元（1982），徐盛桓（2010），吴炳章（2010），袁毓林、王明华（2011）。于根元（1982）考察了表达“全都……只有……”含义的一类句子，并认为把这类自相矛盾的句子列为病句值得商榷，因为它们所使用广泛，用法独特。徐盛桓（2010）认为这是利用指类句存在并容忍反例的特点所形成的表达方式。袁毓林、王明华（2011），，吴炳章（2010）认为这类句子的存在得益于缺省推理，即后一小句的介入取消了一般情况下可以成立的前提而得出了新的判断。但从语言使用经验来看，前一小句更像是用来作对比、衬托的，而不是用于被取消的。缺省推理的分析没有给前半句的对比、衬托功能以足够的重视，也忽略了这类句子中的有标记结构。在这些研究的基础上，本文首先分析了这类句子的构式特征。根据Goldberg(1995,2006)对构式的定义，这类句子符合以下两点，可以成为一类构式：一是它们是“全称肯定/否定句+特称否定/肯定句”和突显功能的配对；二是特称句的出现使这类句子在形式上具有了不可预测性。句子中表达“全都”“只有”意义的词汇是开放的，“全都……只有……”是其中的典型成员。把这类句子作为构式进行观察和分析，突出了前后句在功能上的不可分离性。针对缺省推理的解释忽略了前一小句的衬托功能这一问题，本文以Talmy(2000)的图形/背景理论为基础，认为在无标记的这一构式中，前后句分别起到了背景和图形的作用。全称是由于受到连续和闭合倾向的影响而形成的主观全量，而句子中的前后矛盾其实是主观全量和客观反例的对立，并非真正的前后矛盾。在有标记的这一构式中，由于客观反例处于特定语用梯级的较低端，受梯级推理的影响，特称句由图形最终转变为背景事件，全称句成为图形。有标记结构由无标记结构发展而来，拓展了这一构式的语用功能。 “全都……只有……”构式虽然存在字面上的矛盾，但仍被人们接受。它们被应用于文学作品、日常语言当中。在反预期相关理论的基础上，本文通过分析认为，与完全合乎语法的其它方式相比，这一构式具备反预期的语用功能，使得图形事件更为突显。同时，其中的全称凝聚了说话人更强烈的情感和态度，使这种表达方式更易于传递主观上的感受。
[Abstract]:This paper attempts to summarize the characteristics of this kind of sentence more fully , to reveal the reasons of its emergence and use , to understand the reasons of its emergence and use , to understand the causes of the contradiction and to analyze the motivation of this kind of sentence in the cognitive and pragmatic aspects .

The author thinks that the existence of this kind of sentence has benefited from the default reasoning because it is widely used and its usage is unique . By using the experience of language , Mr . Xu Sheng - huan ( 2010 ) thinks that the existence of this kind of sentence has benefited from the default reasoning .

On the basis of these studies , this paper first analyzes the structural features of this kind of sentence . According to Goldberg ( 1995 , 2006 ) , this kind of sentence conforms to the following two points , which can be a kind of structure : one is the pairing of " full - scale positive / negative sentence + special " negative / affirmative sentence " and highlight function ;
The second is that the appearance of the sentence makes this kind of sentence in the form of non - predictability . The expression " all " in the sentence is open , " all . Only . " is a typical member of it .

Based on the graphic / background theory of Talmy ( 2000 ) , this paper considers that the front and rear sentences play the role of background and graphic respectively because of the influence of continuous and closed tendency .

All of them are accepted by people only . They are used in literary works and everyday languages . On the basis of the theory of anti - expectation , this paper argues that this structure has the function of anti - expectation pragmatic functions , which makes the graphical events more prominent . At the same time , the whole name aggregates the more intense emotion and attitude of the speaker , which makes the expression more easy to convey subjective feelings .
