儿童早期词汇习得与概念形成

语言与思维之间存在怎样的关系?两者是否同一,能否分离?语言是否决定思维,或者思维是否决定语言?这些问题由来已久,一直是争论的话题。本论文以语言与思维的关系为出发点,对各种理论论述及实证研究进行辨证分析,以认知科学为理论支撑,以儿童词汇习得与概念习得的互动为突破口,管窥语言与思维的相互关系,以期为语言习得研究提供理论的支持。语言决定论认为是我们说的语言决定了我们的思维,虽然这种观点已经被抛弃,在这一观点的基础上加以改进的语言相对论,即我们所说的语言影响着我们的思维,仍然是争论的焦点。概念是思维的基本单位,概念与语言之间的关系式认知学科的一个焦点问题。近年来,人们更加关注概念与语言的关系在儿童身上的起源。研究主要集中在词汇习得上,因为词汇的学习涉及在语言单位和概念单位之间建立联系。我们想知道的是语言是否对概念的形成有作用,概念能力是否影响语言的习得。语言的习得与概念形成相互交叉,很难确定两者的优先地位。一般来说,概念知识提供语言的输入,而语言反过来通过概念对句子进行编码和解码。因此,我们认为应从词汇概念学习的角度研究单词语义的习得和发展,在语言发展的大框架内研究语言与概念之间的关系。总之,...
