以社会语言学角度研究新营子镇第三小学教师对托县话和普通话的语言态度

【摘要】：关于语言态度的研究兴起于上个世纪60年代。国内外学者采用定量与定性的研究办法广泛研究了语言态度这个课题,其内容包括对于标准语及其方言变体,标准语及少数民族语言,和多种语言的语言态度研究。本文采用了定性与定量方法相结合的研究方法,运用了问卷调查法和变语配对法研究呼和浩特托县新营子镇第三小学教师对托县话和普通话的语言态度。本论文之所以选择教师为研究对象,是因为以往大量的语言态度研究的对象集中于学生,或外来务工者,又或年轻人,很少以教师为研究对象。本论文围绕以下三个研究问题,旨在了解托县话和普通话之间的关系,而且对语言理论的发展和语言政策的制定具有意义:1.受试者对托县话和普通话持怎样的语言态度?2.受试者的语言使用情况是怎样的?3.就受试者的性别,年龄,教育背景,和出生地的不同而言,受试者会有不同的语言态度吗?如果有,有哪些不同之处。本文以性别,年龄,教育背景,出生地为四个变量,并从社会地位和亲和力两个维度十个项目来研究受试者对托县话和普通话的语言态度。本论文得出以下结论:第一,由于女性和男性受试者天生的语言能力的差别,女性和男性受试者对托县话和普通话持不同的语言态度。第二,年长者对托县话而不是普通话持更加积极乐观的态度,而年轻者则相反。第三,受试者的教育背景和出生地在某种程度上影响了他们的语言态度,但不是很明显。第四,托县话享有较高的亲和力,普通话则享有更高的社会地位。第五,托县话更多地被用在日常生活中,普通话则更多地被用在正式场合。本文阐明了语言能力,语言使用,语言选择和语言态度之间的关系,即相互联系又相互影响。
[Abstract]:The study of linguistic attitudes began in the 1960 s. Scholars at home and abroad have extensively studied the topic of linguistic attitude by means of quantitative and qualitative approaches, including the study of linguistic attitudes to standard languages and their dialects, standard languages and minority languages, as well as linguistic attitudes in a variety of languages. This paper adopts the qualitative and quantitative methods to study the teachers' attitudes towards Tuoxian dialect and Putonghua in the third primary school of Xinying Zi Town in Hohhot to study the language attitude of the teachers. The reason why this thesis chooses teachers as the research object is that in the past, a large number of language attitude studies focused on students, migrant workers or young people, but rarely on teachers. The purpose of this thesis is to understand the relationship between Tuoxian dialect and Putonghua, and it is significant to the development of language theory and the formulation of language policy. What is the language attitude of the subjects to Tuoxian dialect and Putonghua? What was the subject's language use? Will the subjects have different language attitudes in terms of sex, age, educational background, and place of birth? If so, what are the differences? Based on the four variables of sex, age, educational background and place of birth, this paper studies the subjects' language attitudes to Tuoxian dialect and Putonghua from the two dimensions of social status and affinity. The main conclusions are as follows: firstly, due to the differences of natural language abilities between female and male subjects, female and male subjects have different language attitudes towards Tuoxian dialect and Putonghua. Second, older people are more optimistic about Tuoxian rather than Mandarin, while the younger are the other way around. Third, the subjects' educational background and place of birth affect their language attitudes to some extent, but not obviously. Fourth, Tuoxian dialect enjoys higher affinity, while Putonghua enjoys a higher social status. Fifth, Tuoxian dialect is more often used in daily life and Mandarin is used more in formal occasions. This paper expounds the relationship between language competence, language use, language choice and language attitude, which is related to and interacted with each other.
