语境分析模式与译者转换能力的培养

  翻译是以符号转换为手段,意义再生为任务的一项跨文化交际活动,换言之,翻译是基于语言转换的跨文化交流,因此,凡翻译活动必涉及转换行为。转换能力在翻译过程中起着重要作用。作为解释言语和语境之间关系的理论分析框架,语境分析模式近二十年来在涉及语言的研究领域中得到了最为广泛的阐释和应用。受功能主义语境翻译观影响的语境分析模式着重情景语境三要素与翻译的关系,因此功能主义语境分析模式也被称为情景语境分析模式。然而,在具体的语境分析中,除了情景因素外,语言、文化等层面的语境因素也对语义的理解、生成起着重要的作用。因此,基于语境翻译观,即言内语境(语言)、情景语境和文化语境三个维度,作者提出运用语境分析模式阐释转换能力,“自上而下”地分解为文化对比能力、情景对比能力和语言对比能力。对三大次级能力的界定和实例阐述形成了全新的转换能力培养模式,同时,运用问卷调查和案例分析,验证了自上而下的语境分析模式对于转换能力培养的有效性和可行性,提出了一些在翻译教学中培养转换能力的方法。在语境翻译观的指导下,运用语境分析模式来探讨转换能力培养模式,不仅丰富了转换能力自身的内涵,而且为提高译者转换能力乃至翻译能力提供了...
