【摘要】：网格作为纽约这座城市的关键坐标系统,在纽约的城市文学书写中很少得到恰如其分的探讨。纽约作为E.L.多克托罗生于斯长于斯最后魂归于斯的地方,是多克托罗主要的文学命脉,对多克托罗的城市文学进行研究时常有所提及,但是深入探讨网格对他的纽约城市文学的研究甚少。网格滋养并建构了他的纽约城市书写,生成了崭新的观看城市的方式,产生了重要的现代性城市空间的主题意象“收藏者”,并最终影响了他的叙事文本的建构。故而值得探讨。本文首先分析网格对纽约城市的建构,随后分析网格是解读多克托罗的纽约城市书写的关键,纽约的网格式规划影响了多克托罗观看纽约的方式,生成了新的观看城市的视觉机制,这种视觉机制决定了多克托罗的城市体验表现为时间和空间的双重断裂,都市体验的支离破碎。论文第二部分通过多克托罗小说中的“收藏者”形象进一步呈现其都市体验的复杂性。收藏者的存在证明了现代城市中公共空间的衰落,视觉上的游牧主义已经逐渐让位于私人领域的收藏活动；而收藏者也是多克托罗对自己作为小说家的隐喻；收藏者反映了城市作为现代性的舞台,永远都在自我崩解中重生,不可避免地将自己呈现为废墟上的建构。第三部分探讨多克托罗的城市书写,指向一种废墟的美学。废墟指的是在多克托罗的纽约城市书写中,纽约是无限熵增的状态,纽约是现代的废墟和毁灭的形象,因而其纽约城市书写是一种对废弃之物的书写。
[Abstract]:Grid as the key coordinate system of the city of New York is rarely properly discussed in the writing of New York's urban literature. New York is the place where E. L. Doctorow was born and raised in the final spirit of the city. Doctorow is the main literary lifeline, the study of Doctorow's urban literature is often mentioned. However, there is little research on the grid to his New York city literature. The grid nourishes and constructs his New York city writing, and creates a new way to view the city. It has produced an important theme image of modern urban space "collector", and finally affected the construction of his narrative text. Therefore, it is worth discussing. Firstly, this paper analyzes the grid construction of New York city. Then the grid is the key to interpret Doctorow's New York city writing. The grid planning of New York affects the way Doctorow looks at New York and creates a new visual mechanism for viewing the city. This visual mechanism determines that Doctorow's urban experience is characterized by the double rupture of time and space. The second part presents the complexity of the urban experience through the image of "collector" in Doctorow's novels. The existence of collectors proves the decline of public space in modern cities. Nomadic vision has gradually given way to the collection activities in the private sphere; The collector is also Doctorow's metaphor for himself as a novelist; Collectors reflect the city as the stage of modernity, always in the self-disintegration of rebirth, inevitably presents itself as the construction on the ruins. The third part discusses Doctorow's urban writing. An aesthetic that points to ruins. Ruins refer to Doctorow's New York City, which is a state of infinite entropy. New York is a modern image of ruins and destruction. Therefore, its New York City Writing is a kind of writing of abandoned objects.
