《珍珠》:完美的结构,不完美的说教

【摘要】：《珍珠》是乔叟时代"《珍珠》诗人"一部非常重要的宗教梦幻诗。叙事者因痛失"珍珠"而哀伤嗟怨,郁郁入梦。梦中在仙境偶遇"珍珠",与之展开神学对话,并在"珍珠"指引下看到了天国之城新耶路撒冷。梦醒以后,叙事者心情归于平静,并决心谦卑地侍奉天国君主,成为他的忠实信徒。这一"完美结局"在学界赢得广泛认可,诗歌完美的圆形结构更加强了读者对这一"完美结局"的认同。本文通过对梦前序曲和梦境中叙事者的详尽分析,认为梦醒之后叙事者的宗教"宣言"违背了其叛逆而世俗的个性,太过突兀、牵强而不足信。本文因此得出结论,《珍珠》一诗虽然结构精巧完美,但就其声称对叙事者达到的劝诫效果而言,却并未完美实现。
[Abstract]:"Pearl" is a very important religious fantasy poem in Chaucer's time "Pearl". The narrator laments and dreams about the loss of "Pearl". In his dream, he meets "Pearl" in Wonderland and begins a theological dialogue with it. And under the guidance of the Pearl, he saw the New Jerusalem of the Kingdom of Heaven. After waking up from his dream, the narrator was calm and determined to humbly serve the King of the Kingdom and become his faithful believer. This "perfect ending" won widespread recognition in academic circles. The perfect circular structure of the poem strengthens the reader's recognition of the "perfect ending". This paper analyzes the predream prelude and the narrator in the dream in detail. It is believed that the religious Declaration of the narrator after waking up is contrary to his rebellious and secular personality and is too abrupt and far-fetched to be believed. But in terms of the admonition it claims to have had on the narrator, it has not been perfectly fulfilled.
