西方游历小说的情节结构模式研究

【摘要】：所谓游历小说,是指以游历人物为主人公,以游历人物的行走及活动为基本线索,以游历人物的所见所闻、所思所想为主体内容的一种小说类型。西方游历小说的情节结构模式在其演化过程中不断丰富和拓展,以巧妙的架构能力和趣味横生的故事叙述方式,形成了自身独特的发展规律,长期影响着后世的小说创作。对情节结构模式的分析和深入,有助于更加全面系统的了解西方游历小说。本文共分为五个部分:第一部分为绪论部分,首先,简要梳理了西方游历小说及其情节结构模式的发展轨迹,综合前人的研究成果,对其概念和分类进行总结。其次,对于本文的研究意义以及国内外研究现状进行了详细的梳理和概括,在总结前人成果的基础上,架构起本文的理论基础。最后,从情节结构出发,将西方游历小说的情节结构模式分为三种类型:单线型情节结构模式、复线型情节结构模式以及网状型结构模式。第二部分,分析单线型情节结构模式的类型。根据情节架构的不同,将单线型情节结构模式分为三种类型:W型情节结构模式、圆圈型情节结构模式和树状情节结构模式。以《小癞子》、《堂吉诃德》、《格列佛游记》、《小王子》、《鲁滨逊漂流记》、《哈克贝利·费恩历险记》、《汤姆·索亚历险记》、《海底两万里》、《弃儿汤姆琼斯的历史》等经典小说文本为基础,进行深入的剖析。第三部分,分析复线型情节结构模式的类型。根据情节架构的不同,将复线型情节结构模式分为两种类型:一种是交叉式情节结构模式,一种是平行式情节结构模式。此部分以《弗兰肯斯坦》、《魔戒》等经典小说文本为基础,进行纵向的分析。第四部分,分析网状型结构模式的特点。以精神游历小说如《喧哗与骚动》、《墙上的斑点》、《尤利西斯》等经典文本为基础进行分析。“情节”在现代小说中已不断弱化,不再作为文学创作中的要素而存在。此部分以人物的意识和心理活动为辐射线进行情节的特点分析。情节结构模式化具有其双面作用。一方面有利于游历小说的再创造,促进游历小说的生产和传播。在依据模式进行创作的过程中,不断吸取发展过程中的优秀元素进行融合,创作出富有新意和生命力的作品。另一方面又会局限创作者的发挥。情节结构模式凝聚了丰富的文化艺术内涵,通过模式化的情节往往能够看到一个时代的文化背景和情感意蕴,以及作者想要传达的价值意义。因此,对于西方游历小说情节结构模式的客观研究,有利于对西方游历小说进行深入了解,有利于拓宽延展西方游历小说理论体系的建构,对于小说的创作发展具有借鉴意义。
