灵泊中的罪与罚

【摘要】：在《地狱篇》第4歌中,维吉尔将异教圣贤们的精神状态描述为"只在向往中生活而没有希望"。在地狱的旅程中,每当维吉尔面临具有启示意义的时刻,这种灵泊的精神特征就不断地体现在诗人的迷茫中。由于拒绝皈依,这位异教诗人在古代的记忆与对未来不确定的期待之间挣扎。维吉尔的这种迷茫为地狱中的许多恶灵所共有,这些灵魂虽然具有预测未来的能力,却对"当下"发生的事情缺乏知识。在奥古斯丁的《忏悔录》中,时间的出现正是堕落的结果,人类心灵时间的三重结构(过去、现在与未来)是对上帝三位一体的拙劣模仿。只有理解"现在",才能皈依上帝这"永远的现在"。因此,在但丁的地狱中,消失的"现在"是对不信者充满诗意的讽刺,而"只在向往中生活而没有希望"既是灵泊之罪的体现,也是对这罪的惩罚。
[Abstract]:In Hell No. 4, Virgil describes the spiritual state of pagan sages as "living in yearning without hope." In the journey of hell, every time Virgil faces a moment of enlightenment, this spiritual characteristic of spirit is constantly reflected in the poet's confusion. By refusing to convert, the pagan poet struggled between his ancient memory and his uncertain expectations of the future. Virgil's confusion is shared by many evil spirits in hell who, while capable of predicting the future, lack knowledge of what is happening in the present. In Augustine's confession, the appearance of time is the result of corruption. The triple structure of human spiritual time (past, present and future) is a poor imitation of the Trinity of God. Only by understanding the present, can we convert to the eternal present. Therefore, in Dante's hell, the vanishing "present" is a poetic satire to the unbelievers, and "living in yearning without hope" is both a manifestation and a punishment of the sin of spirituality.
