城市中的孤儿：近代传教士汉译小说的社会学研究

【摘要】：近代西方来华传教士译介大量西方经典儿童文学名著,如关于伦敦孤儿的小说《贫女乐诗嘉》《安乐家》等作品。从传教士译介的这些城市孤儿小说中,读者可以看到孤儿们悲惨的生存境遇,如物质生活的贫困和疾病的折磨,孤独的精神和内心世界,以及匮乏的受教育条件。同时,从文本中人们也可以看到这些城市孤儿是如何被救赎的,有来自社会中成人对孤儿的关爱,如帮助孤儿改善贫乏的生活条件,也有大自然优美的景色对孤儿孤独内心的重要影响,如使孤儿内心感到快乐,还有来自宗教和教育对孤儿的深刻人文关怀。传教士译介的这些城市孤儿小说在当时社会也产生了重要影响,对于改善现实社会中儿童的物质和精神生活,以及受教育条件,促使新的儿童观和教育观出现,都有着不可或缺的作用。可以说,近代传教士译介城市孤儿小说是对当时社会如何救赎城市孤儿一次重要探索,对现在如何解决城市孤儿问题也有积极意义。该论文主要分为绪论,正文,结语和附录四个部分。绪论部分主要是关于传教士译介城市孤儿小说的思考以及国内外关于儿童史和儿童文学研究学术史的回顾。正文一共分为三章,第一章主要分析城市孤儿的成因,描写城市孤儿悲惨的生活经历,主要包括贫困的物质生活和疾病的痛苦折磨,孤独的内心和精神世界,以及匮乏的受教育条件。第二章主要介绍城市孤儿的救赎之路,包括来自社会中成人对城市孤儿的关爱,乡村优美的自然风景对城市孤儿孤独心灵的重要影响,以及来自宗教教育的深刻人文关怀。第三章主要论述传教士译介的这些城市孤儿小说,在当时社会中所产生的积极影响,包括城市孤儿物质和精神生活条件的改善,城市孤儿受教育条件的改善,以及促使社会上新的儿童观和教育观的出现。结语部分则是对这三章内容地进一步深化和总结。论文中笔者所选取的传教士译本都是近代较为稀有文本,因此,在附录部分对其中涉及到的传教士译本进行简要介绍,希望可以更能够说明问题。笔者希望通过对传教士译介的城市孤儿小说地研究,了解它们在当时社会所产生的具体影响。同时,本文也挖掘其现代意义,让更多人来关注近代西方来华传教士译介的儿童小说及其重要价值。
[Abstract]:Modern Western missionaries in China translated a large number of classic western children's literature masterpieces, such as London orphans' novel "the poem of poor women's music" and "Anle family" and so on. From these urban orphan novels translated by missionaries, readers can see the tragic living conditions of orphans, such as the poverty of material life and the torment of disease, the lonely spirit and inner world, and the lack of educational conditions. At the same time, people can also see from the text how these urban orphans have been saved, from the community adults care for orphans, such as help orphans improve the poor living conditions, There is also an important impact of the beautiful scenery of nature on the solitude of orphans, such as making the orphans feel happy, as well as the profound humanistic care of orphans from religion and education. These urban orphan novels translated by missionaries also had an important impact on the society at that time, which promoted the emergence of new views on children and education in order to improve the material and spiritual life of children in real society, as well as the conditions of receiving education. Both have an indispensable role to play. It can be said that the translation and introduction of urban orphan novels by modern missionaries is an important exploration on how to save urban orphans in the society at that time, and also has positive significance on how to solve the problem of urban orphans now. The thesis is divided into four parts: introduction, text, conclusion and appendix. The preface is mainly about the missionary translation of urban orphan novels and the review of the academic history of children's history and children's literature research at home and abroad. The text is divided into three chapters. The first chapter mainly analyzes the causes of urban orphans, describes the tragic life experience of urban orphans, including the material life of poverty and the suffering of disease, the lonely heart and the spiritual world. And lack of access to education. The second chapter mainly introduces the road to redemption of urban orphans, including the care of adults in the society to urban orphans, the rural beautiful natural scenery of the lonely hearts of urban orphans, as well as the profound humanistic care from religious education. The third chapter mainly discusses the positive influence of these urban orphan novels translated by missionaries, including the improvement of the material and spiritual living conditions of the urban orphans, the improvement of the education conditions of the urban orphans. And to promote the emergence of a new social view of children and education. The conclusion part is to further deepen and summarize the contents of the three chapters. The missionary versions selected by the author in this paper are rare texts in modern times. Therefore, in the appendix part, the author briefly introduces the missionary versions involved in them, hoping to be able to explain the problem more. The author hopes to study the city orphan novels translated by missionaries and understand their specific influence in the society at that time. At the same time, this article also excavates its modern significance, lets more people pay attention to the modern western missionaries' translation of children's novels and their important value.
