论《小城畸人》中的暗恐书写

【摘要】：舍伍德·安德森是美国十九世纪末、二十世纪初一位著名作家,并被誉为“美国心理作家的鼻祖”。鉴于弗洛伊德和安德森之间的“神秘”契合,本文试图以弗洛伊德的暗恐理论为视角,剖析安德森在其成名作《小城畸人》一书中对被奉为“真理”的西方理性传统的解构与颠覆。《小城畸人》一书中暗含强烈暗恐之感：重复、巧合、泛灵论、自动作用等暗恐母题散见于书中多个故事。因此,本文从小说中的暗恐表象出发,探究隐藏在畸人暗恐现象背后的“不确定性”。而这种“不确定性”事实上又和安德森笔下的人物建构息息相关：主体“我”中存在着被压抑的陌生自我。体现在畸人身上,经历暗恐的畸人皆是在现代文明之下被异化的自我的陌生人。因此,通过对畸人们的暗恐追本溯源,本文试图考察现代文明对人性的压抑,从而凸显作者安德森暗恐书写背后对西方理性传统的质疑与反思。由此,本文通过对安德森的暗恐书写三个不同层次的剖析,从人物表象之畸深入至畸人自我的分裂,最后挖掘造成安德森笔下畸人异化的本质缘由。借此,笔者试图阐明,安德森的暗恐书写对文明之下个体的不安和异化一一再现,从而洞见了人为构造的“真理”价值体系的虚伪性,并对现代文明进行了无情地揭露和批判。而这,也正是《小城畸人》一书的审美价值所在。
[Abstract]:Sherwood Anderson is a famous American writer at the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century. In view of the "mysterious" agreement between Freud and Anderson, this paper attempts to take Freud's theory of hidden terror as a perspective. An Analysis of Anderson's deconstruction and subversion of the Western rational tradition which is regarded as "Truth" in his famous book "small Town Terror". The book "small Town Terror" contains a strong sense of fear: repetition, coincidence, animism. Automatic action and other hidden motifs are scattered in many stories in the book. Therefore, this paper explores the "uncertainty" hidden behind the phenomenon of "terrors" from the perspective of the appearance of "hidden terror" in the novel. In fact, this uncertainty is closely related to Anderson's character construction: there is a repressed strange self in the subject I. They are strangers who are alienated under modern civilization. Therefore, by tracing back to the source of the hidden terror of the teratons, this paper attempts to examine the suppression of human nature by modern civilization, thus highlighting the query and reflection of the western rational tradition behind the writer Anderson's dark horror writing. Therefore, through the analysis of three different levels of Anderson's writing of "hidden terror", this paper explores the essential causes of the alienation of the unorthodox people in Anderson's writings. On this basis, the author tries to clarify that Anderson's writing of "hidden terror" reproduces the individual's uneasiness and alienation under civilization, thereby revealing the hypocrisy of the "truth" value system constructed by man, and exposing and criticizing modern civilization mercilessly. And this, also is the aesthetic value of the book "small town teratons".
