[Abstract]:As a prolific writer, Bayeux has close up many of the wonderful novel, her novel, the children's book, won the Booker nomination in 2009, and won the James Tate Black Memorial in 2010. The novel traces the living conditions of several families during the late Victorian to World War I of a turbulent period. Parents in the novel are eager to influence and control their children in the name of love. Born in the late Victorian period, children born in the Edwardian era face a grey future. So the children began to pursue their identity in a turbulent world, to fight the will of their parents, to go on their way and to seek independence.
