《在西方目光下》中的俄罗斯

【摘要】：俄罗斯带给康拉德的不仅有创伤性记忆,更有窥探的诱惑。其《在西方目光下》中的俄罗斯有着多重形象:它是侵入"中心"、需要被驱散的幽灵,但作为"自尊心受辱"的民族的代表,它又被想象为一个能够部分抵抗西方欲望的独立世界。不同的文明价值与模式在被专制制度挤压的空间里发生激烈碰撞,最终为康拉德呈现人类生活的"不可调和的)中突"提供了绝佳范本;而对俄罗斯的书写,也反过来推动作家发掘出一些更为隐秘的自我意识。
[Abstract]:Russia brings Conrad not only traumatic memory, but also the temptation of snooping. Russia in its under the eyes of the West has multiple images: it is a ghost that invades the "center" and needs to be dispelled, but as the representative of the nation whose self-esteem is humiliated, it is imagined as an independent world that can partly resist the desire of the West. Different civilized values and models collide violently in the space squeezed by autocratic system, which finally provides an excellent model for Conrad to present the "irreconcilable" protruding of human life, and the writing of Russia, in turn, promotes the writer to discover some more secret self-consciousness.
