作为当代美国最多产的非裔作家之一,帕西瓦尔·埃弗雷特（Percival Everett 1956-）以其独特的艺术风格和风趣讽刺的语言特点而广泛受到关注。与许多前辈作家或同辈非裔美国作家不同的是,埃弗雷特的小说在文本结构和风格艺术上体现为从新现实主义和反现实主义再到后结构主义、后现代主义的多样变化。他的作品多选择美国中产阶级为主人公,进行小说形式与结构的实验,挑战了读者的智力,突破了社会政治对黑人形象充满歧视的固有的类型化定位。他的作品既有对西方传统小说创作手法的颠覆,也有对传统种族观的反驳,同时还对当下美国社会现实,特别是非裔群体密切相关的历史、政治、文化等问题进行批判性的思考。他的作品体裁涉足面颇为广泛,创作主题几乎无所不包,艺术风格也尤为新颖独特,以先锋和实验著称,其作品在文学,美学和哲学方面都有着不可忽视的研究价值和现实意义。2001年小说Erasure的巨大成功,令埃弗雷特逐渐引起西方学界的重视,尤其受到法国等欧美学界的热捧和关注。本文从解构主义的视角出发,以探究埃弗雷特文学的创作取向以及诗学美学主张为目的,以解构小说的文本形式,叙事模式,语言意义以及种族身份为切入点对《维吉...
