人际关系管理视角下的虚假礼貌研究

本文认为虚假礼貌具有相对性,它是独立于礼貌、不礼貌言语之外的语言现象。本文以虚假礼貌为研究对象,采用Helen Spencer-Oatey（2008）提出的人际关系管理理论作为理论框架,旨在研究如何通过语言构建来维护或者威胁人际交往和社会关系。本研究选取简·奥斯汀的《傲慢与偏见》人物对话中虚假礼貌言语作为语料,通过定性研究的方法,对具体语境中虚假礼貌的使用进行细致地话语分析,探讨以下两个研究问题:（1）在不同语境中的虚假礼貌的表征形式有哪些?（2）在人际关系管理视角下,对于交际者而言实施虚假礼貌有什么人际语用功能?本研究例证了不同语境中的虚假礼貌的三种表征形式:先礼后兵、象征性移情和指桑骂槐。同时也发现,对于交际者而言,实施的虚假礼貌言语具有四种人际语用功能:维持交际和谐、构建人物自我身份、间接威胁和讽刺。另外,在具体语境中所实施的虚假礼貌可以同时具有多种人际语用功能。本研究对于文学作品中虚假礼貌现象的人际语用功能的解读具有一定的实践意义,同时对于实施虚假礼貌维护和谐人际关系和构建自我身份具有一定启示。
