【摘要】：托马斯哈代和曹雪芹分别是英国文学和中国文学的领军人物,他们的代表作《德伯家的苔丝》和《红楼梦》都为世界文学做出了杰出的贡献。这两部优秀作品生动地描绘了在不同社会背景下女性有相似悲剧的多种原因。本文从马克思女性主义视角,详细比较和分析了苔丝和尤三姐的形象,以探索不同民族和文化的女性却有相似悲剧的原因,来吸引对旧世界女性命运的关注,并给新世界的女性以启迪。本文共分为五章。第一章引言部分介绍了托马斯哈代和曹雪芹,对他们的作品《德伯家的苔丝》和《红楼梦》的创作背景进行了研究,并对国内外的文学评论进行了全面综述,同时说明了研究意义。第二章主要阐述了理论框架马克思女性主义和恩格斯相关的观点。马克思女性主义认为女性的经济和社会地位决定她们在父权制社会受压迫的状态。正如恩格斯所说,女性作为受压迫的对象,不是天生注定而是在父权制社会中渐渐形成的。第三章探讨了苔丝和尤三姐悲剧的最根本原因:衰败的经济状况和卑微的阶级地位。第四章讨论了苔丝和尤三姐悲剧的另一个原因:她们在父权社会的从属地位,并通过男权为中心的社会价值观、虚伪的道德和不公正的法律反映出来。除此之外,她们叛逆独特的性格也是构成各自悲剧的成因,比如苔丝的独立反叛精神和尤三姐的睿智反抗精神。通过以上分析在第五章得出结论,为了保证女性在社会中平等的权利,女性应首先在经济上取得独立,其次应确保社会价值观、道德和法律对社会中的每一个人都公平合理。此外,女性自身也应有清醒的头脑和正确的价值观去追寻自己的幸福。
