后殖民语境下库切小说中的老人形象研究

【摘要】：J.M.库切是南非当代著名白人英语文学作家，2003年诺贝尔文学奖的获得者，库切以后殖民书写表达自身对昔日殖民历史的思考和社会问题的见解。在他创作的作品中有对老人形象的描绘，本论文选取了库切作品中的《内陆深处》、《等待野蛮人》、《铁器时代》、《耻》、《伊丽莎白·科斯特洛：八堂课》、《慢人》、《凶年纪事》7部小说为研究对象，梳理出后殖民语境下库切小说中老人三类形象、分析了老人的生存境遇和家园意识、阐释了老人形象的价值及意义之所在。本论文有五部分构成，绪论部分主要介绍库切其人其文，梳理近十年来库切作品研究的国内外研究现状。第二部分梳理和归纳后殖民语境下老人形象。首先是梳理了后殖民的相关理论，然后是阐述库切对后殖民的思考，，最后梳理出库切小说中的老人形象，把库切小说中的老人形象分为统治者形象、知识分子形象和异乡人形象三类。第三部分主要从生存境遇和家园意识两个方面具体分析了库切小说中的老人形象，探讨老人在种族冲突下的生命际遇及家园意识，阐述库切通过对老人家园意识的抒写所表达出的人类对于美好生活的向往。第四部分阐释了后殖民语境下老人形象的价值和意义，库切从哲学的高度来对人类终极关怀进行审视和探究，提出了对人性本源的追求和思索，为老人晚年生活寻觅新的道路。第五部分为结语。通过以上对后殖民语境下库切小说中的老人形象研究，笔者希望能对库切小说创作的人物形象有一个更为全面和深入的了解，以期进一步深化对库切小说的理论研究。
[Abstract]:J.M. Kuche, a famous contemporary white English literary writer in South Africa and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2003, expressed his own thoughts on the colonial history and social problems in his post-colonial writing. In his works there is an image of the elderly. This thesis selects seven novels in Kuchet's works, such as "Deep Inland", "waiting for Barbarians", "Iron Age", "shame", "Elizabeth Costello: eight lessons", "slow Man", "the year of the Bad", 7 novels. Combing out three kinds of images of the elderly in Kuche's novels in the post-colonial context, this paper analyzes the living conditions and the sense of home of the elderly, and explains the value and significance of the image of the elderly. There are five parts in this thesis. The introduction mainly introduces Kuche's works, and combs the domestic and foreign research status of Kuche's works in the past ten years. The second part combs and summarizes the image of the elderly in the post-colonial context. First of all, it combs the relevant theories of post-colonial, then expounds Kuche's thinking on post-colonization, finally combs out the image of the elderly in Kuche's novels, and divides the image of the elderly into the image of rulers in Kuche's novels. There are three kinds of images of intellectuals and aliens. The third part mainly analyzes the image of the elderly in Kuche's novels from the two aspects of living circumstances and the consciousness of home, and probes into the life fate and the sense of home of the elderly under the racial conflict. This paper expounds the human yearning for a better life expressed by Kuche through the expression of his sense of home for the elderly. The fourth part explains the value and significance of the image of the elderly in the post-colonial context. From the perspective of philosophy, Kuche examines and explores the ultimate concern of human beings, puts forward the pursuit and reflection of the source of human nature, and seeks a new way for the old people to live in their old age. The fifth part is the conclusion. Through the above research on the image of the elderly in Kuche's novels in the post-colonial context, the author hopes to have a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the characters of Kuche's novels, with a view to further deepening the theoretical research on Kuche's novels.
