[Abstract]:This paper discusses Tony Morrison's novel beloved from the angle of literary ethics, and analyzes the moral factors in beloved from three different levels of relationship: man and society, man and others, and man and self. Thus reveals the author's "seeking truth", "seeking good", "seeking sanctity" the literature ethics demand. Including introduction and conclusion, this paper is divided into five chapters. The interpretation of the key definition is the breakthrough point of each chapter. This paper analyzes the novel from the mode of combination of the definition and the novel. The author, Tony Morrison, and his works are introduced in detail in the introduction. Secondly, the literature on the literary criticism of Tony Morrison and beloved is reviewed from two aspects: domestic and foreign. Thirdly, it explains the theory of literary ethics adopted in this paper, and finally probes into the significance of writing and the literary appeal that the author wants to express. The first chapter analyzes Morrison's ethical proposition and pursuit of seeking truth in the relation between man and society. The relationship between man and society is embodied in beloved as the relationship between "sweet house" and its members, between black individuals and black communities, and between black groups and mainstream society. Through the analysis of these three relations, Morrison shows that the black individual must maintain harmony and unity with the black community and the black people, and join in the interpretation of this eternal truth. The second chapter analyzes Morrison's ethical pursuit of "seeking good" in the relationship between people and others. In this chapter, Morrison's concern for the feelings of mother and son, the relationship between blacks and whites, and the friendship between blacks, demonstrates her advocacy and esteem of friendship, independence, equality, fraternity and mutual assistance. The essence of these friendships is actually different forms of "good". Only by practicing the above-mentioned "good deeds", can a healthy and harmonious relationship be gradually achieved between people. In the third chapter, the author deeply analyzes the ethical appeal of "seeking sanctity" in the most intrinsic and difficult aspect of the relationship between man and self. Seth and Paul D. these two novels contain Morrison's ethical and moral principles at the level of the relationship between man and self. Seth finally overcome the pain after suffering, after suffering finally found a new self in the new life, Paul D finally returned to the true self, a complete concept of "human" in him vividly and vividly. Introspection, repentance, self-discipline and kindness are the manifestation and realization of Saintly pursued by Morrison. The fifth chapter enters the conclusion of the thesis. This conclusion can be drawn from the in-depth analysis and summary of the previous four chapters: under the specific social background of a specific period, the problems of black community and black race are exposed. Morrison expressed concern about the various relationships among black people. By deeply describing the black society and individual living conditions, the author's moral beliefs and ethical pursuits can be accurately interpreted in the text: truth, harmony, independence, equality, self-discipline. Introspection, repentance, love, mutual help, etc. The above all stem from Morrison's faith and pursuit of love. Thus, love is Morrison's prescription for black men and for all mankind. So far, Morrison's value and contribution to the construction of humanistic spirit is self-evident.
