从新历史主义角度解读《第五个孩子》

【摘要】：多丽丝·莱辛是在当代世界文学界占有重要的地位的英国女作家。近六十年的创作生涯,莱辛以高产的作品和多变的写作风格享誉文坛，并最终在2007年获得了诺贝尔文学奖，成为了这一奖项年龄最大的得主，同时也得到了评论界和学者们对其作品和写作方式更多的关注。莱辛多重的文化背景和多维的视角使得作品有着较为宽泛的主题。对莱辛的研究国内多见于用后殖民主义、女性主义、马克思主义及苏菲主义等理论解读《金色笔记》和《青草在歌唱》等代表作；而国外则大多集中于莱辛作品的主题研究。 本文选取莱辛创作中期系列小说《第五个孩子》作为研究对象，虽然这部现实主义的系列小说并没有给莱辛带来很多的荣誉，但是在作者的创作生涯中，作者对这部作品有着独有的感情。《第五个孩子》是多丽丝·莱辛运用新历史主义这一文学理论表达其社会责任感和道德责任感的一次成功尝试。同时，小说中新历史主义的运用正是多丽丝·莱辛从太空小说回归到现实主义小说创作的一个表现。此外，本论文结合了佛洛依德的精神分析法，表达作者对人性黑暗面的揭露和对边缘人物处境的同情，，对理性与文明的思考。 本论文由四个部分组成。第一章介绍作家多丽丝·莱辛和其小说《第五个孩子》，并简述《第五个孩子》在国内外的研究现状。第二章介绍新历史主义，阐述新历史主义主要观点。第三章是新历史主义结合精神分析法在小说中的运用。第四章为总结部分，揭示人性黑暗面和传递莱辛对边缘人物的人文主义关怀。
[Abstract]:Doris Lessing is an important British woman writer in the contemporary world. After nearly 60 years of creative life, Lessing won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2007, and became the oldest winner of the award for her prolific work and varied writing style. At the same time, critics and scholars pay more attention to his works and writing methods. Lessing's cultural background and multi-dimensional perspective make the works have a broad theme. The research on Lessing is mainly used in the works of post-colonialism, feminism, Marxism and Sufi, etc., while most of the studies abroad are focused on the theme of Lessing's works, such as "Golden Notes" and "the Grass singing". This paper chooses Lessing as the object of study in the creation of the Medium-term Series of novels "the fifth child". Although this realistic series of novels does not bring Lessing much credit, but in the author's writing career, The fifth child is a successful attempt by Doris Lessing to express her sense of social and moral responsibility with the literary theory of New historicism. Meanwhile, the use of neo-historicism in novels is a manifestation of Doris Lessing's return from space fiction to realistic novel creation. In addition, this thesis combines Freud's psychoanalysis method to express the author's sympathy for the dark side of human nature, his sympathy for the situation of the marginal characters, and the rational and civilized thinking. This thesis consists of four parts. The first chapter introduces the writer Doris Lessing and her novel the fifth child, and briefly introduces the research status of the fifth child at home and abroad. The second chapter introduces the new historicism and expounds the main viewpoints of the new historicism. The third chapter is the application of new historicism combined with psychoanalytic method in the novel. Chapter four is the summary part, which reveals the dark side of human nature and conveys Lessing's humanistic concern to the marginal characters.
