谭恩美小说的记忆书写

【摘要】:美国当代华裔作家谭恩美(Amy Tan,1952-)对记忆有着特殊的情感,至亲和自己亲身经历的遗忘事件让她对记忆充满了深深的恐惧和怀念,由此激发并开启了她通过创作向记忆朝拜的历程。从第一部小说《喜福会》到此后发表的一系列作品,无论是就作品呈现的内容还是叙事艺术,记忆元素贯穿始终。 本文以谭恩美的五部长篇小说为研究对象,参照有关记忆的心理学、社会学和人类学等理论进行文本解读,从“记忆”这一独特的艺术形式出发深入理解和把握作家谭恩美。 论文主体分为三个部分。第一部分总述记忆概念和谭恩美与记忆的关系,从理清记忆的生理学、心理学、精神分析学、人类学、社会学和文学记忆的内涵和关系出发,梳理出谭恩美的家族记忆对其创作的直接影响,以及谭恩美记忆书写的总体创作脉络。第二部分重点考察文本中凸显的有关记忆的审美表征,从东西场域、家族记忆和文化记忆这三个主要的层面展开。对三四十年代的中国和当代美国的认知是谭恩美创作的记忆框架,作家在此视阈内讲述发生在当代华裔家庭中的故事,追忆华裔的生存史,在故事中传达自己对中西文化的认识和理解,表达在美强势文化语境中华裔对自我身份的追寻并发出自己的声音。最后部分分析谭恩美作品中记忆书写的叙事艺术。论文结合相关叙事理论,对小说中主要呈现的回顾性叙事形式、时间艺术和对记忆碎片的处理方式进行分析,从而深层揭示作家串联记忆的特殊写作手法。 论文从记忆书写的角度切入,深入考察谭恩美小说在内容和形式上浓重的“记忆”特征,从中揭示作家文学书写记忆的脉络,从而深入理解谭恩美所构筑的艺术世界。作家谭恩美在向往事的回归中,找回了一个因时代和地域的划分而割裂的自我,也因着记忆的寻回和讲述找回了心灵的圆融与和谐。
[Abstract]:The contemporary Chinese American writer Amy Tanyi (1952-) has a special emotion for memory. The oblivion events experienced by her closest relatives and her own made her full of deep fear and nostalgia for memory, which inspired and opened the course of her pilgrimage to memory through creation. From the first novel "Joy Luck Club" to a series of works published since then, memory elements run through all the time, both in terms of the content presented in the works and in the art of narration. Based on Tan En-mei 's five novels and referring to the theories of psychology, sociology and anthropology of memory, this paper tries to understand and grasp the writer Tan En-mei from the perspective of "memory" as a unique artistic form. The main body of the thesis is divided into three parts. The first part describes the concept of memory and the relationship between Amy Tan and memory, starting from the understanding of the connotation and relationship of memory physiology, psychology, psychoanalysis, anthropology, sociology and literature memory. Combing out the direct influence of Tan Enmei's family memory on his creation, and the general creative context of Tan Enmei's memory writing. The second part focuses on the aesthetic representation of memory in the text, from the three main levels of east-west field, family memory and cultural memory. The cognition of China and contemporary America in the 1930s and 1940s is the memory frame of Amy Tan's creation. In this perspective, the writer tells the story that happened in the contemporary Chinese family, and recalls the survival history of the Chinese people. In the story, he conveys his understanding and understanding of Chinese and Western culture, and expresses the Chinese Chinese's pursuit of their identity and their own voice in the context of American culture. The last part analyzes the narrative art of memory writing in Amy Tan's works. Based on the related narrative theory, this paper analyzes the main narrative forms, the art of time and the treatment of memory fragments in the novel, so as to reveal the writer's special writing technique of serial memory. From the perspective of memory writing, this paper makes a thorough investigation of the strong "memory" characteristics of Amy Tan's novels in terms of content and form, thus revealing the context of the writing memory of the writer's literature, so as to deeply understand the artistic world built by Amy Tan. In her return to the past, Tan En-mei has found a self separated by the division of time and region, and has also recovered the harmony and harmony of the mind through the search for and narration of memory.
