论巴特勒小说《亲缘》中的历史书写

【摘要】：机器控制人类或赋予人工智能神的力量是科幻小说的惯常题材,因此探讨主人及奴隶间权利对抗关系成为科幻小说永恒的主题。奴隶话题成为科幻小说界关注焦点之一,然而,众多科幻小说家却刻意回避真实原始的非洲奴隶的大环境。奥克塔维亚·埃斯特尔·巴特勒的《亲缘》是为数不多的背景设定在美国南方种植园奴隶时代的科幻小说。小说的背景为奴隶制,为探究当前的种族关系和历史发展作出了铺垫。本新奴隶叙事小说反映了白人男性和黑人女性之间的权利抗衡。无论小说的背景设定在遥远的未来或是过去,这些奴隶制叙事题材小说的主题总是权利,支配,奴隶制度以及复杂的人际关系。黑人女作家必须正视历史从而保持前进的步伐。这部小说以及本项研究的意义,在于认识到正视历史是黑人女作家写作传统的关键部分。本论文之于前人论文的创新之处在于集中探讨该部小说所反映的历史的客观性,即历史不能被改变、美化或者重新建构。小说《亲缘》作为广泛流行的新奴隶叙事题材的最具代表性作品,正视美国南方种植园时期蓄奴制度对当前美国社会不容忽视的影响,强调历史对现在的建构作用。本小说从女性的视角叙述了美国南方种植园奴隶制时期白人男性对黑人女性的种族和性别压制,本论文将基于文本性和非洲研究的大范围探讨跨种族恋情与社会经济、政治、伦理因素和人性的相互摩擦与碰撞关系。通过女主人公时空穿越模式展现美国南方种植园时期的历史大画面,本部小说聚焦于两个不同历史时期截然不同的跨种族两性关系。本论文探讨本部小说中的时空穿越写作手法的作用,并深入研究不同时代跨种族关系中自人男性和黑人女性的权利争衡。总之,本研究将阐释时空穿越作为回访历史的隐喻,探究跨种族两性关系的进步展现的一种乐观的历史观,揭露历史对现实的持久的影响,总结出美国黑人女作家持有的是一种积极乐观对待历史的态度。
[Abstract]:Machine control of human beings or the power of artificial intelligence is the usual subject of science fiction, so it is the eternal theme of science fiction to explore the power confrontation between master and slave. The subject of slavery has become one of the focal points in sci-fi novels. However, many sci-fi novelists deliberately avoid the real primeval African slave environment. Octavia Estelle Butler's kinship is one of the few sci-fi novels set in the slave age of the American Southern Plantation. The background of the novel is slavery, which paves the way for exploring the current racial relations and historical development. This new slave narrative novel reflects the power rivalry between white men and black women. Whether the novel is set in the distant future or in the past, the themes of these slavery narrative novels are always power, domination, slavery and complex interpersonal relationships. Black women writers must face up to history in order to keep moving forward. The significance of this novel and this study lies in recognizing that facing up to history is a key part of the tradition of writing by black women writers. The innovation of this paper lies in the discussion of the objectivity of the history reflected in the novel, that is, history can not be changed, beautified or re-constructed. As the most representative work of the popular new slave narrative, the novel "kinship" faces the influence of the slavery system in the southern plantation period on American society, and emphasizes the constructional function of history to the present. This novel describes the racial and sexual repression of white men against black women in the Southern American plantation during slavery from a female perspective. This thesis will explore interracial relationships and socio-economic, political, and political issues based on textual and African studies. The friction and collision between ethical factors and human nature. Through the heroine's time and space traversing mode to show the historical picture of the plantation period in the southern United States, the novel focuses on the two distinct interracial gender relations in two different historical periods. This paper probes into the role of space-time passage in this novel, and deeply studies the power struggle between self-inflicted men and black women in the interracial relations of different times. In a word, this study will explain time and space travel as a metaphor for historical visits, explore an optimistic historical view of the progress of inter-racial gender relations, and expose the lasting impact of history on reality. It is concluded that American black women writers hold a positive and optimistic attitude towards history.
